they already had a happy ending. The whole point of the seed series was "don't be biased" meaning in conflicts always choose to look and/or listen both sides of the story for you to be able to tell who is right or who is wrong and not just blindly follow what you're told to believe. Be it in war, or even in personal conflicts. That's what the lovely couple who created the seed series was trying to tell you. That being said, R.I.P to Chiaki Morosawa, wife of Mitsuo Fukuda .
