This is the best service video by far because I watched alot since I've been working on my bike since 2019. I really appreciate your efforts. I always used to take apart the shroud fairing from the radiator my biggest mistake. I didn't need to remove the front wheel though. Again Great video Bro! 👍💪🙏🙌😎
Hey man Thanks so much for your compliment! Yes you right! The wheel not necessary to remove. I only done it because I was planning to do the fork oil change and it was just easier to record the whole process without the wheel. I’m glad you’re found my video useful. Thanks so much for watching! 🛠🤘
You got the oil filter cover, rubber rings mixed up. Need to switch them to the right place ... HA ! just a little humor. Brother great job !! My hero !!
Not a problem! If you get me the flight ticket and all inclusive accommodation I could be there in two days. Just before your track day. I can get it done for free just for you Ducati dealers would charge you hundreds of dollars. 🤠 I only need the travel expenses. 🤘🫶
Fantastic video thank you for taking the time 🙏I’ve got a 1299s and I was thinking of doing my own servicing as I don’t like others touching my bikes 🥴
BTW you don't have to take off the wheel and calipers to remove the whole radiators assembly part. To take it off you can turn the wheel to the left and slide the radiator assembly out...to save some time from taking off the wheel and calipers unless your changing it out anyways then.
Thanks so much! The first time asked for a quote back in 2015, I was quoted £530 for labour to change the spark plugs and oil. No way, I’ll do it myself, thanks
Does the service manual for the 1199 recommend removing the muffler, like the manual for for my 959 does? Seems unnecessary and that you could simply disconnect the plug for the fan attached to the lower radiator and be good to go.
nice video I would like to ask u please can u give me the dimension of your inline cooler that u have ? I see that is the performance technology or the reference code please ?
Disculpa a cuánta temperatura entra el radiador o a cuántos grados se siente ya que se esté calentando. Tengo una 899 2014 llega a 110 grados con ventilador prendido y me. Empieza a tirar el anticongelante 😢
Hey man, I got a 959 Panigale, and I have the same in line radiators you have. The longer unit that is installed on the left side, I did not see yours installed. The reason I bring t hot at up is that I installed mine, and now I have to cut out the inner fairing to ge clearance. Is that what you did? Did you do a video showing installation? Let me know Thank you bro!
Seriously? It's a standard spark plug socket that comes with any complete socket set. It'll typically be the largest and only socket in the set that has a rubber gasket in the inside.
Hey I was only able to fit the short cooler pipe. The longer cooler doesn’t fit. They are made for a race setup. But still the short piece made enough difference. The bike doesn’t over heat as easily as before. If you could buy a used half price kit, I would say it is worth it. If you have a little more in your pocket just buy an oversized cooler or the water cooler with oil cooler. That would make a huge difference. I hope it was helpful. 🛠🏍🤘
Hey I didn’t fit the other radiator. Originally designed for the race setup so the whole plastic has to come out to be able to fit it Thanks for watching 🏍🛠🤟
Why so many wires and hoses everywhere? I never saw a Japanese bike that look like that. Even for v-twins I'm not seeing a Harley they had hers and hoses all over the place like that.
Tbh it depends on the bikes tech inside of it. The more high tech race oriented it is the more wire n hoses will be in ur bike. Like Ducati it seems like a bit of mess because Ducati doesn't have a frame. Usually wires n hoses are hide behind, between or around the frame but since Ducati is using the frameless monocoque design they can't do that obviously. So yea it seems like a bit of mess but trust me it's all for the sake of getting the most out of the bike. The engineer they don't design something without purpose. A lot of thought are put behind those wires n hose. Hope this will answer ur question
I had a good deal on 10-40w. In England is never hot. The average temperature in spring and summer is 20 degrees. The oil gets changed every 2000km. I will be going to eastern Europe in the summer trough Spain and Italy. I will be using the 15w. The weather can get scorching hot there. Thanks for asking. 👊🛠🏍

The threads on the oil filter cap are M8 1.25 pitch. Grab a couple long M8 bolts and thread them in to wiggle cover off.
Thanks for the suggestion 🛠🤘

Hi! Thanks so much for your compliment. I made these videos for people like you. I feel the same, I don’t want others to touch my bike either 🤟🛠🏍
Thanks for the easy to understand videos. The ducati service manual is a lot more work to accomplish the same thing.
Thanks so much for your compliment 🤟
Felicitaciones!!! Excelente video muy ilustrativo!!
Thanks! 🛠🏍🤟
Thanks for the Video..

Muy buen video buena clase de mecanica y menuda maquina tan hermosa!
Wow thx
Great video 👍
Thanks so much 🏍️🛠️🤘
Another quality video. Removing the front cylinder spark plug is a bit of a mission. That alone would cost £200 a a Ducati dealer
Thanks so much!

The lift called abba skylift

Well could this bike use a iridium plus. If so iridium last longer. Doesnt need to change so often. 😀 Thkq.

Spark plugs and oil change on my Aprilia rs250:
- remove the lateral dx body.
- replace the spark plugs.
Oil - 2 stroke. No oil to replace.
🤣

Just use whatever socket you have that fits that spark plug.
Not the case for me!!. I ordered a 14mm then wall, still waiting on it.
❤
Where did you get the bike stand?
The stand called ABBA motorcycle stand.
Hey man. I see you have the ducabike water like cooler. Does it really helps? It is worth 460$? Thank you in advance!

When I start, the engine turns but doesn't catch. Then at times, it backfires
Sounds like a starter motor gave it up. It’s a common issue on these bikes. Backfire caused by the excess petrol.
Hey brother, I have that same issue.. did you ever get it fixed, and if so what was the problem?
Thats a lot of work to change 2 spark plugs !
Hey
Yes it does take a long time but it will worth every penny at the end.🏍🛠🤟
