My MacBook Pro won’t connect to the remote desktop app. It keeps telling me it can’t connect and I already set up the app. I have no idea what I’m doing wrong.

awesome and mind blowing. one question: i already have a virtual room created in one my VR apps using Unity. can i use that to let other ppl come and join? its like i created a classroom environment with virtual objects and i want participants to join me in that and see what i am doing? in your video you are streaming your actual desk

Do you mean you developed an app using Unity, or do you use an app (with virtual rooms) that was developed using Unity? In either case, including a physical object in the VR environment is set up in the developing phase. I don't know about that. You may want to search forums and ask developers for a clear answer.

you didn't start from the beginning. i haven't even been able to pair the headset because i log in on my computer and it brings me to a fake website where nothing is clickable and it says "test meeting". it seems like you just have to be lucky to be able to actually pair your headset

Yes, this is prepared based on the assumption of headset pairing has been completed. So, more focused on interactions and features usability. For pairing for the first time:
1.Open Oculus Website and Sign In (you need to sign in your Facebook account before that)
      2.Go to www.oculus.com/workrooms/
      3. Click Login next to "Getting Started" tab
      4. It will ask you registered email address to send an activation code. Type your email address and wait for the activation code. Then, either copy the code to workrooms page or click the "verify e-mail" link.
      5. Create a team
      6. Pair your headset: by entering the pairing code displayed on your headset when you open Workrooms in Quest Headset. If the code does not appear, reboot your headset and try it again.
      7. You also need to download and install Oculus Remote Desktop app to manage your computer via your headset.
      I hope this helps.

@@the-birbo I see. Could you copy the link of that (fake) page and paste here? I also suggest using different web browser. (Not Safari).

what do I do if my hands aren’t shown? When I set the controls down, my actual hands don’t show in avatar form therefore, I can’t type.

@@Markellsfitness You may need to enable hand controls in the main settings. Can find this if you're in the main lobby of the Quest headset

All VR does is add another layer of technology. Seriously, there is no advantage to typing on a physical keyboard via passthrough technology.

There are multiple things to consider. I see the benefits of using it(small but crucial details as a user), but we should consider this video reflects the early stages of the software. They can add/remove/modify some functions based on user feedback and usage. Also, VR is a comparatively new technology, so I believe more features will evolve in time.
