Some great insights to the pro drivers opinions here! Had to chuckle at the comment about being “driver flat”. Those little dips to 90% on the throttle trace make liars out of us!
A little lift there when the front is struggling to turn the car can make a huge difference to rotation though. Then you can unwind a bit of steering and mash the gas in a straighter line.
I liked the reference to using your left foot to hold down the right. If you haven't messed up braking or corner entry then a flat turn is a flat turn whatever our nerves tell us (simplification of course due to the wide variety of other variables at play)
Slow is smooth, smooth is fast.
i love how every video on this channel is basically like "the key to going fast, is to figure out what you need to do in order to go fast."

Do F1 next time indycar is for peasants.
Obviously your driving talent is at such a high level that only F1 instruction will do. Hopefully others with lesser skill will find some good information from the very fast peasants at IndyCar

Indycar is the best, no abs, no tc, no power steering, true race cars. Romain Grosjean even said that F1 is becoming too easy
