I was born in a city un Albania which is now sadly, one of the biggest hubs of Organized Crime. There are many factors to consider why Al is exporting this type of a problem. First of all let me tell you that Al is a small place. I personaly know and have met some of the people that are now most wanted in the world. After talking to them i realized that they are not so bright, they are not so amazing as the media makes them out to be.
In fact the reason Al organized crime is risen is simple. Al government provides cover for these people and works with them. Edi rama is the biggest snake the world has ever seen. He fools all the allies with his charm and his willingness to cooperate, but in fact he is a degenerate druggie and he loves organized crime. He hangs out with the heads of crime, gets paid by them and also gives them seats in parliament. I am convinced that if you take away the connection to the state, many of these groups will collapse. Believe me they are not so special. They are not too bright, most of them are peasants. They do have a stupid sense of courage, but i could just tell it stupidity plain and simple. But if edi rama doesn't investigate and prosecute them, and offers them laundering opportunities then they will just fall like ants.
Al organized crime is not even cool and mysterious like the italian mafia, it is mostly just dumb paesants taking stupid risks to transport drugs, and if some gets caught they simply send 10 more dumb paesants, if one suceeds they all get rich.
They are very hard to penetrate because they only work with their dumb families. In my city we absolutely hate these peasants, and believe me if edi rama would not have given them such support, we would have taken them out for sure ourselves.
