The moment I heard this theme when watching a video of the Tekken 8 beta being played by someone else, I was immediately on board.....it sounds so hype, lively, and chirpy at it's core (the amazing "chirpy" sound starts at 0:11, that's exactly what I'm talking about). Tekken 8 isn't even fully out yet, and I've already found a *really* memorable track from the game that finely represents alongside the tracks that play in the *Yakushima* stage and the *"Fist Meets Fate"* theme in it's entirety. And this isn't even the only Tekken 8 theme that has impressed me. This truly is the next generation of Tekken, after all....
I didn’t think I’d like this one that much because the dubstep approach was beginning to tire me out after Tekken 7, but this theme grew on me after 3mins of listening. I don’t too much mind it if they do it in a cool way that isn’t cliché. The progression is also really great which is the main redeeming quality for me. Overall, I think I like it a lot. Edit: I’m not too great with identifying the genres (so correct me if I’m wrong), but I think there’s a bit of breakcore/dnb/jungle in there as well which helps break up the dubstep parts from feeling too excessive. It’s a really nice blend and I also love that the song actually has a recognizable melody to it. Parts like 1:50 are also really nice to help the song from feeling overly bombastic, like small moments of calm in between where the melody gets a chance to shine, ultimately enhancing it. The music is hype and energetic, but knows when to have it’s moments of rest. It’s not just a song, but an experience. I like this direction they are taking with Tekken 8’s music, and as you can probably tell from reading this far by now, even the songs I think I may not like I actually end up really liking a ton, so kudos to the developers. 😂
@@sardarasadkhan2753 I'm honestly completely dumbfounded how they took Noctis over Tifa as a Final Fantasy rep for Tekken 7. Sure, FFXV came out around the time, but he fits way less in the grounded Tekken fighting.
@@TH_Zireael2077 Tekken 8 and Rebirth come out soon. The third FF7 game will also probably release within Tekken 8's lifecycle. I think there's still a chance of Tifa showing up in Tekken. Having said that, i really liked Noctis in tekken 7. He has a fast and explosive playstyle, i really enjoyed pummeling people into the ground with his While Running Lp+Rp.
