OMG it works great. It was very easy. If I can do it, anyone can. Making a second one as backup. You saved my behind, Mister. I now have freedom to live my life without having to be home every day at 6 to feed and water the chickens. FREEDOM is SO wonderful. I cannot thank you enough.

I ordered a 20 gallon feeder about a month ago and I have to say that this feeder is the best! there is practically 0 waste as my chickens have to eat everything to get to the new feed. I don't see wasted feed on the ground anymore unlike with the other feeders you get on the market. I highly recommend this product!! I bought caps at home depot to cover at night from critters.

The USA is the land of convenience and your product is a perfect example. Like he said, you can make it on your own or simple purchase one. I would rather purchase it and move on like we do when one walks into a convenient store and get a cup of coffee or a manwich and we do not question “ I can make it cheaper if I made it home”. It can be done at home, brew or create the sandwich, but we get lazy and buy the darn stuff at the store.
This guy is honest and to simplify life just a bit in the farm life, it’s not a bad idea just to order one of his products. I’m from Jersey where everything is expensive for convenience 😂😂😂

Drew was great every step of the way. He responded quickly to my questions. He let me know when he shipped the kit. A very clear how to video. It only took me 10-15 minutes to put the feeder together. We just had rain and the feed was dry. My need was to be able to leave my backyard chicken coop for a week and know that the chicken won’t run out of feed. Perfect all around. Don’t know about rodents as yet since it is new, but my cats bring rodents into our house regularly so that’s how we deal with them. 👍👍👍👍👍

To avoid the 'grabbing' when using the hole saw on plastic or pvc, I suggest using the drill in reverse. It also helps to avoid cracking the plastic or pvc.

We got the 20 gallon feeder and absolutely love it! The chickens really love it too! Totally worth it. We made our own, similar to yours, but we kept losing too much food around the feeding holes. Yours is perfect and worth the money. We definitely recommend your feeder to everyone we know.

This is a great design, we have a flock of 12 chickens and this feeder has made doing chores so much easier! We can put almost an entire bag of feed in, and the chickens adapted to it very well. Our egg count has also gone up lately which I don’t think is solely because of the feeder, but it hasn’t hurt anything either. Great product & great service!

Where I live…there is a lot of moisture in the air…
We have that exact same feeder!😂
But the down side is, when it’s wet outside, the feed gets wet. The feed goes and sits at the bottom, and it molds

Plumbing tip. Start gently when using the holesaw and once the arbour has punctured, then switch the drill to reverse when going into the pvc to eliminate the dangerous grabbing. Also better not using your hand next to the holesaw to secure the plastic while drilling.

Your right it's by far the best style of feeders out there. I have had my 5 gallon bucket for over 5 years still going strong. I'm a home builder so I had the tools but still great system. I would buy from you if I didn't already have my done. I got the idea from another RUclipser (Rob Bob) but your system is a little better because a five gallon bucket lid can be really hard to get off at times. And spiders hide under the lip of the bucket so that's fun..

Observations... having don this several times... way before this video was around.
    1. When cutting the plastic can run the hole saw in reverse ... it will cut/melt with out ripping/biting in to the material,,, just like vinyl siding.
    2. Also the Od on a 3" PVC fitting is 3.5" unlike the size he ref. in the vid.
    3. He's using Street elbows, 60 or 90deg.

Pro-tip to drilling plastic and not have the bit grab/jump/rip your hand off, is to run the drill in reverse. The wood hole saws have a much too agressive cutting edge for plastic. Another tip is get the hole saw that has built in pilot drill.

They are bjg enough fir full sized rats to enter. They hold poison bait on a skewer within. Ill tell you. I tried a lot of otger ideas like plain mousetraps with peanut butter... 50 of those, and smaller bait stations. I now know what actually works its the giant bait stations. Why? Because there are many dead rodents all arpund my farm now. Nkt a good situatiin with farm animals near them. But still mega satisfying after years of fighting the mice and rats. The farm animals will have to deal with it till the mice are all dead. Its worth it. Im buying more of these to put out in my property to stem the tide of rodents.
