Mining in the Aravalli Hills can impact the water supply in Delhi and Haryana. Mining can disturb the water table by puncturing aquifers, which can disrupt water flow and cause lakes to dry up. Mining can also alter natural water channels that lead to major water bodies.
Aravalli hills and vegetation there may works as as shield to protect from heat wave from west.. Now we are planning to make a shield with heavy vegetation to shield from heat waves...

Licences for mining issued already should have been stayed until the report from the committee panel was obtained... As to what region was covered under aravalies.. The existing laws under other states with aravalis should be reviewed and and rationalised.. Until then suspension or stay of existing mines should have been imposed.. Coz there are all chances of over exploitation and severe Daamage until the report is issued by committe panel set up by SC.. Forest officers must be summoned if laws were violated or framed in such a way that it would coz loss to ecosystem..
