  • The current MXGP champion, Jorge Prado, made quite the impression during his first four rounds of Monster Energy Supercross this year. With that, Prado now has a choice to make, who will he race for in 2025? Here are some thoughts and early rumors/options coming up.

    Prado is one of the most respectful people I’ve ever seen and I think he would be awesome for our sport in the US. And I’m not even talking about his ability to ride talking about his character and personality is very honorable. And even though he just started Supercross, he looks pretty dang good for the short period of time he’s been doing it. Can’t imagine a full year of Supercross under his belt how good he would beand then for outdoors, we all know he might give Tomac a run for his money ,maybe.🤙🇺🇸✌️👊🙏💯

    • @vitalmx
      @vitalmx  8 месяцев назад +6

      Sadly, due to the reasons we listed early on, top US riders don't truly seem interested in going MXGP. Only riders who don't have a good option here look towards Europe to reset their career. Maybe one day it'll change.

    • @lampenracer
      @lampenracer 8 месяцев назад +5

      @@vitalmx With all the respect for the US series, when people say that the best from Europe come to the US to race the best series, it's sadly just for the money. Or at least it's one reason. It is such a good series because of the money involved. MXGP will have to change something to stay competitive against the US series. As a spectator you pay a lot of money in MXGP, as a racer you pay a lot of starting fee in MXGP but get no money when you win a GP? There is something wrong in the system.

    Forkner is so young still... he's healed. I think he crushes it this year on 250 and steps up to 450. When we all sit back and realize the depth of talent in both classes... Expectations of who can win a title is a reach... I'm stoked to see it mixed up through top 15 in 450... Sport needs more outside corporations to put some big money into it.. I'd like to see at least 50 guys per class getting paid big! Top 100 really... Anyone I see top 40 is straight rippin... so hopefully some creative solutions to open up the sport to more pros making a respectable living that can provide for their family and future... and health insurance should be a top priority. As for Detroit Sx! I'm rooting for JA21/ET3/C$1/KR94/CW2, and Danger/Forkner/Swoll/Ferry/McAdoo

    Forkner is under crippling burden and pressure to perform - how can anyone believe in his ability to turn his situation around. Forkner situation;
    1. He's super fast but explodes on his own. He is unable to keep it together.
    2. He has super bad brekes and bad luck.
    Forkner odds are the same as betting in Las Vegas - Forkner is a over cooked steak = he's done

      I like the ML talks. I don't like how swap calls you talking boy.. like what else are you supposed to do in these videos.. not talk? Always pretty well spoken which I appreciate and solid info.
      HOWEVER please stop with the "definition of insanity" bit... I hate it when people say that. It's literally not the definition of insanity, but people keep repeating this.. maybe these people who say it are the insane ones? If this was true then everyone who plays the lottery is clinically insane. Just stop, it's a dumb saying that doesn't make sense that gets repeated by dummied. It's right up there with "I could care less"... It's even worse than that because it's calling other people insane and at least inferring they're being stupid, WHILE saying something incredibly wrong as your argument. The irony is strong with that saying.
