- Hundreds of protesters rallied in downtown Indianapolis Thursday against immigration raids and Gov. Mike Braun's pledge to assist with federal immigration enforcement.
Signs were held high and voices even higher as protesters marched from the Indiana Statehouse and around Monument Circle Jan. 30.
They were rallying against President Donald Trump's promise to deport thousands of illegal immigrants a day.

And on a personal note, I have no issue with people being here illegally if they aren’t causing problems. Immigrants pay in a lot of money in taxes that fund programs they never benefit from.

Biden did not open the border. Why don't you look into the statistics instead of believing what you are told for other people's gain. Biden deported more people than trump did first of all. Republicans started saying Biden and the democrats wanted open borders during the 2020 election and after Biden was elected, they said repeatedly the border was open. Those lies led more people to come to the border and cross it. Biden left most all of trump's border rules in place except for remain in Mexico and family separation.
Republicans and democrats wrote a border bill that would have helped with the border issue, but trump didn't want the problem fixed so he could use it for his re-election campaign, which wasn't a secret. Use the thing in your hand every day to find information. CSPAN maybe boring, but you could at least look at it when congress and the senate are voting so you can know who votes for what and what is in those bills.

I can’t make sense of this. My mother in laws family fled Germany before Hitler came to power. They had to wait for 6 years for their application to be approved. Instead of crying about it, they moved to the Brazillian jungle and built homes, farms, and anything else they needed while waiting. Nobody is hating immigration, it’s illegal immigration that is not ok. You are spitting in the faces of the people that immigrated here legally. It’s like the Biden administration wanting to pay off college debts. I know many people that would have gone to college if they didn’t have to repay their loans.
