this is very real, i try to help people with their drama all the time if i get caught up in it somehow, one thing i hate about a lot of CoS CCs is them refusing to talk to the other side, refusing to accept that blame is usually not completely on one side and that it's often a misunderstanding or both side's faults, they just aren't good at anything of that sort and i constantly see a fight that could easily be avoided if they were just older i still think minors should be able to be creators of anything, its productive and good to start early, its just annoying to deal with these kinds of things sometimes
Minors should be free to do whatever they want. As long as they are morally and rationally acceptable. When they do cross a point then they should really try and understand the position they've placed them selves in.

Any game that used to be under Red Manta OR Sonar Studios is Twin Atlas, as the company was a merger between the two.) And honestly, as an adult within the community, and someone who has gone out their way to not only criticize moderators.. But also Developers and Community managers... I agree with you whole heartedly. Thank you for saying what needed to be said, especially at 7:03. Criticism should never be avoided, Muting, banning and going out your way to punish those for whome you disagree with is extremely childish, not only that... But endangering children by refusing to listen to your staff on serious topics that require more nuanced perspectives, is something we have seen time and again... And seems to be encouraged by the company. I'm always glad to see more people speaking up about this.. And I hope to see more of it. If you truly want something to change, please PLEASE speak up about it, make yourself known. Go people you trust, make your own videos, your own tweets... There are many youtubers who tend to cover these situations, who you can rely information to. never be afraid to try. Twin Atlas is not a small company, and actively works with Roblox on large events, so with that in mind, please be respectful. Be persistent, and speak up your mind in any case of injustice. And I promise you, change WILL happen, but that's only if you let it.

Hey frown, I know this isn’t exactly related, but iv realized how incredibly toxic some people are on this game… such as the death threats you’ve received, that is NOT ok. It is never ok, to say hurtful things that are better kept unsaid.. in the past week, a group of people and me were attacked for supporting LGTBQ+, we were called gross, abnormal, freaks, and stupid (less nice version) I do not understand why people think this is ok. Now my experience is nothing compared to yours, who in the god dam right mind wants someone dead over a creature game?! People need to really calm the hell down, staff needs to actually listen to their community, and not ban people for stupid reasons. On that note, I hope everyone reading this knows you’re not alone, have a good day.
As a Minor, why do I understand basic discipline just as Frown is saying in the video- better than everyone else in this comment section. For example, if I prank a teacher in a physically/not funny way, I have to take and take punishment so that the teacher for one knows that I am sorry and I'm taking responsibility for my wrong doings, and two that I have learnt from it and feel ashamed of myself. Minors are terrible and have too much free will to do ANYTHING. I'm still one and have experience with people like these. I was bullied for YEARS almost commiting, having the need to take meds and go to therapy. They cried when I told them that I didn't reported them to the police. After few years I finnaly manged to cut them off but guess what? THEY DID THAT AGAIN TO OTHERS. Not in that scale as they did to me, but still. I'm friend with their's "victims" rn. I though they learned from their mistakes but no. Girl almost cried when asking me "WHAT HAVE I DONE TO THEM?", she looked just like me from the past screaming to my parents what on earth have i done and that i want to end it all. I still have mental issues because of them. Sorry for my grammar if it's bad but my frist language isn't english :p The worst part is none of them would ever take responsiblity for their actions. Especially if it's happening on the internet.
In all seriousness i am glad to have you in this community frown, i like that you share awareness with other people, that actions have consequences, some out there really need to be aware of that and remember either not to be put in power positions or take responsibility and criticism, with saying ,,i'm just a minor" makes said people far more incompetent and unworthy of a power place. i've been stumped for a long time when it comes to the part about mentally ill people in those positions, on one hand many mentally ill people can't handle drama, can't handle people being mean, which isn't their fault, so people say they just shouldn't be on the internet and/or shouldn't socialize, on the other hand, many of them also happen to be talented in art, they can't handle a "regular" job but could live somewhat well using their talent, for that you have to use the internet to make art, videos, or whatever it is i really don't know, the internet is where those people can thrive with their talent in a way, but it comes at the expense of other people's convenience, people don't want to be around mentally ill people, but does that mean they should be unable to share their abilities online not only for fun and one of the most amazing parts of being an artist, but also to make a living, leaving them to have a way more difficult time trying to find a job (that they wouldn't like) without the internet? (i hate to use this word because of how people have used it in entitled ways, but in a way that's ableist) at the same time its reasonable, again, many mentally ill people can't handle drama or rude people, i just don't know, i don't blame people for saying mentally ill people shouldn't be on the internet, but either way it's unfair to one side some of them also set a bad example, the ones who as soon as they get in drama bring up how they are mentally ill, it just comes across badly i think a great way to somewhat avoid that issue is for those people to just put in their bio their disabilities/disorders so people can be more mindful, whenever i talk to someone i try to be careful, but even moreso if someone has that in their bio, it is very helpful for preventing drama, of course there are assholes who either "don't believe" in mental disorders or just don't understand it but generally bringing it up mid-argument, doesn't come across well
My thoughts on the matter would be: 1. If you are mentally unstable, you should not put yourself in positions of influence. Not only kids, but even adults struggle with that. 2. Using mental illness to protect yourself from situations you don't want to be is understandable. Like not wanting to see this supposed person cause it might cause a trigger. However, when you talk about the person oftenly and say things to bring attention to them, then it's time to face it. 3. Obviously, people should be able to do what they please but they also need to understand how to function along with everyone else.
Yeah, I agree that in general the kids in the community have too much leniency and power to do whatever they want. It's also a major issue anywhere that people will pull out the "mental health" card. While it's a serious thing, the issue is that just about anyone can claim mental health nowadays, and it causes issues for those who truly have it the worst because nobody will believe them, since everyone else with even only a little bit of anxiety are using it as an excuse in arguments.
Not related, but I remember someone drew NSFW of a game character, got banned from said game and said they didn’t deserve a ban bc they had bad mental health and drawing NSFW was a way to cope.
The Sonaria Wiki is a whole other can of worms. I was only active there for about a month, and in that short time, I witnessed like five different dramas involving five different people. But somehow, all of it was interconnected?? I tried to stay neutral and help others navigate the chaos, but even that was overwhelming for someone like *me*. And mind you, I’m not even a minor. The wiki was supposed to be a space for trading and buying species, talking about favorite creatures, or showing off game-related art. Instead, it turned into this bizarre mix of kids (and, scarily enough some adults) venting about heavy real-life issues, throwing around serious accusations backed by laughably bad Google Docs, and stirring up drama over the pettiest things imaginable. At one point, I made a post pointing out that venting on a wiki board about surviving as a critter probably wasn’t a good idea. That ended up dragging me into a mini drama with some of the same people using the wiki as a therapy board and their friends. They thought I was specifically targeting *them*, even though it was a general issue *a lot* of people were contributing to. Thankfully, it didn’t escalate since talking things out actually helped, but wow... what a ride man LOL 😭😭

I get kids making mistakes 100%, but when you repeatedly make mistakes over and over, and when you get hit with the consequences, you CANNOT throw the minor card around because it starts to lose its meaning after the 60th time. “Play stupid games win stupid prizes” goes along well with this. If you’re putting yourself or others in a situation where you’re prone to criticism, and get upset when criticism comes your way, you SHOULDN’T be in that position. You can say "I’m just a kid" as much as you want, but, that doesn’t change the fact that you did something wrong. I think people use it even more because "CoS is a kids game" which to a degree i guess is true? But, a LOT of adults play it, and a LOT of adults work on it. I think the whole "I’m a mentally ill minor" mindset is INSANE to have, especially in a position of power. For an example, say you (a minor) sent another student death threats and the principal found out, would you say the principal is harassing you because they’re giving you a consequence? Would you threaten to 'drag the principals name through the mud'? Just because you’re a minor doesn’t mean you can’t get consequences to your own actions. Nobody cares that your 13-17 Samantha, you sent a death threat to someone and laughed about it, and when you got called out, you wanted to throw around the minor card. You can’t use your mental illness’s and age as a shield forever, again, it starts to lose its meaning/value.
I’m a minor myself, and I don’t think I’ve EVER used my age as an excuse for my actions. I don’t "I’m just a kid" my way out of serious situations. We learned in 3rd grade to take accountability for our actions come on guys 🤯

Honestly crazy Also just remembered some crazy thing in trade realm like way back when (before recode) where some person was saying they had cancer and they were begging for expensive species cuz they had cancer (I dunno if they had cancer.) and legit no one cared and they were pulling every trick they had to guilt-trip their way into richness.
Well I hope those kids learn to have better leadership also. Learning accountability at an young age can be a great thing Or maybe they learn to avoid it better being in those positions at young age. Like every person in position of power😂

I will say im an adukt that olays sonaria, i caught a death threat from someones i killed for food cause i was playing with my little sister, i told her to leave so we can go to another server, i caught the threat cause she told me what they said.
Don’t be, kids games aren’t only for kids, people of all ages can play them. (Like how adults can play Mario games/Mario Party.) Plus, kids play adult games all the time. Like GTA V, lol.

I'm all for responsibility but putting minors on blast in a video where their usernames are not blurred is not good. You're actively setting them up to be harrassed and sent death threats. Is that responsibility to you? Also, to the comment that was like "But their profiles are public!" Yes, they are but he is making it MORE public. Now people will go out their way to do harm. You're not only affecting Viv. You're also affecting EVERYONE in that community. I hope I made myself clear on this.
That is true, but there's also the fact that their Server Nicknames will not translate directly to their Discord Usernames, plus the fact that some may have Discord Nitro's "Server Profile" feature, changing everything about their profile in the server. The only one who had their profile public is Vivienne, who had it directly on their CTHD TikTok for random people to friend her.
Frown CONSISTENTLY states to his audience not to go and attack people. Of course, some people will ignore these comments and continue to attack those shown in videos but he isnt in perfect control of his fans. These things need to be spoken about, Frowns way of doing so is by speaking to his community. We cant disregard the horrible, hateful things also being said to Frown for simply not covering up the truth and bringing it to the public.
1. They have tried discussing on mass reporting me falsely. I have to fully ensure on the fact I am defending myself and also the authenticity of the evidence/screenshots I'm providing. I can not make a claim they said this and that without fully proving the honesty of my evidence and their sources. 2. It's public since day one and while I do understand I am bringing more attention, I wouldn't have been involved in the first place had they known how to behave. 3. They can change their users if all goes to hell. They can also not just respond to people. If they would like, any harassment could be reported to me and I'll handle my community member. All in all, I'm defending my brand and reputation by showing all honesty without hiding any information that can be shared.

on discord you can just set your options to only accept messages from friends or people in the same server as you. i've had that setting on my own discord profile for ages because i don't like randoms messaging me, it's a one click solution and there won't be any harassment in the first place since random accounts can't message them. if they fail to do that then they obviously are wanting to be the victim on purpose for attention

That’s his content though, no? He’s a drama centered RUclipsr, he’s going to discuss drama. The minors in question also discussed falsely reporting him, and were threatening his life. The only person shown was Viv, and her username was already public. Everyone else had server nicknames. He’s allowed to DO stuff for drama because that’s partially his job, and they DO need to take responsibility. You can’t make blatant threats to someone and expect frown to just laugh it off. I highly doubt anyone will harass them, he had to include the usernames so they couldn’t accuse him of photoshopping anything. At the end of the day, they shouldn’t have made threats to his life and career.

I'm all for responsibility but putting minors on blast in a video where their usernames are not blurred is not good. You're actively setting them up to be harrassed and sent death threats. Is that responsibility to you? Also, to the comment that was like "But their profiles are public!" Yes, they are but he is making it MORE public. Now people will go out their way to do harm. You're not only affecting Viv. You're also affecting EVERYONE in that community. I hope I made myself clear on this.
That is true, but there's also the fact that their Server Nicknames will not translate directly to their Discord Usernames, plus the fact that some may have Discord Nitro's "Server Profile" feature, changing everything about their profile in the server. The only one who had their profile public is Vivienne, who had it directly on their CTHD TikTok for random people to friend her.
Frown CONSISTENTLY states to his audience not to go and attack people. Of course, some people will ignore these comments and continue to attack those shown in videos but he isnt in perfect control of his fans. These things need to be spoken about, Frowns way of doing so is by speaking to his community. We cant disregard the horrible, hateful things also being said to Frown for simply not covering up the truth and bringing it to the public.
1. They have tried discussing on mass reporting me falsely. I have to fully ensure on the fact I am defending myself and also the authenticity of the evidence/screenshots I'm providing. I can not make a claim they said this and that without fully proving the honesty of my evidence and their sources.
2. It's public since day one and while I do understand I am bringing more attention, I wouldn't have been involved in the first place had they known how to behave.
3. They can change their users if all goes to hell. They can also not just respond to people. If they would like, any harassment could be reported to me and I'll handle my community member.
All in all, I'm defending my brand and reputation by showing all honesty without hiding any information that can be shared.

on discord you can just set your options to only accept messages from friends or people in the same server as you. i've had that setting on my own discord profile for ages because i don't like randoms messaging me, it's a one click solution and there won't be any harassment in the first place since random accounts can't message them. if they fail to do that then they obviously are wanting to be the victim on purpose for attention

He’s allowed to DO stuff for drama because that’s partially his job, and they DO need to take responsibility. You can’t make blatant threats to someone and expect frown to just laugh it off.
I highly doubt anyone will harass them, he had to include the usernames so they couldn’t accuse him of photoshopping anything. At the end of the day, they shouldn’t have made threats to his life and career.
