مِنْ عِلْمٍ لاَ يَنْفَعُ وَمِنْ قَلْبٍ لاَ يَخْشَعُ وَدُعَاءٍ لاَ يُسْمَعُ وَنَفْسٍ لاَ تَشْبَعُ
The Prophet used to seek refuge (with Allah) from four things:
From knowledge that is of no benefit, from a heart that does not feel
humble, from a supplication that is not heard, and a soul that is never
satisfied. (Sunan An-Nasas'i)

I wouldn't put Hamza yusuf in the same category as Muhammad tum humble, they are miles apart in thier beliefs! In fact they are he complete opposite. Stick with those who she on tawheed in shaa Allaah.
@@ghurabaa114xx yeah indeed..not only hamza Yusuf there are many other individuals who teach from their own opinion and taking people far away from religion..but sadly most off the people tend to follow these individuals and consider them as real sheikhs where they are neglecting the actual real ones

Aoodhubillaah. People are NOT LIGHT! Allaah, the Exalted, is the One who provides guidance and light to whoever He wills, not people! People are just a source. Yes, Allaah might have guided you through this ustadh. But Allaah is the One who guides, Exalted is He. Laa ilaaha illAllaah ❤❤❤

The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) would supplicate: "Allahumma inni a'udhu bika minal-'ajzi wal-kasali, wal-bukhli wal-harami, wa 'adhabil-qabri. Allahumma ati nafsi taqwaha, wa zakkiha Anta khairu man zakkaha, Anta waliyyuha wa maulaha. Allahumma inni a'udhu bika min 'ilmin la yanfau', wa min qalbin la yakhsha'u, wa min nafsin la tashba'u, wa min da'watin la yustajabu laha' [O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the inability (to do good), indolence, cowardice, miserliness, decrepitude and torment of the grave. O Allah! Grant me the sense of piety and purify my soul as You are the Best to purify it. You are its Guardian and its Protecting Friend. O Allah! I seek refuge in You from the knowledge which is not beneficial, and from a heart which does not fear (You), and from desire which is not satisfied, and from prayer which is not answered]."

وعن زيد بن أرقم رضي الله عنه قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، يقول: "اللهم إني أعوذ بك من العجز والكسل، والبخل والهرم، وعذاب القبر، اللهم آت نفسي تقواها، وزكها أنت خير من زكاها، أنت وليها ومولاها، اللهم إني أعوذ بك من علم لا ينفع ومن قلب لا يخشع، ومن نفس لا تشبع، ومن دعوة لا يستجاب لها"

Any Muslim servant who visits a sick person whose prescribed moment of death has not arrived and supplicates 7 times...he (the sick person) will be cured.

Yes Those who not missing but abandon Solat are the worse but equally true is that Those who keeps their 5 Daily Prayers are not associated to the practice of gambling, drinking, zina and etc unless the Solat weren't properly performed hence being Accepted.

I really want to say something.. please don’t take offence but I think sir you are too much focused on the rules and regulations and it can definitely lead to losing the essence of worship and the beautiful emotion found in connecting with God..
I love l8stening him but he talks a lot of unnecessary things all the time makes l9nger sentences for no reason
