I love your work and like to watch your videos even though I am not at that level. I want to do more realistic portraits and you set a high bar. I so enjoy your narration.
Great video Scott. I did all of the bar plates and the cast drawing with James Charles and also at Gca. Hot press watercolor yes. I’m curious about 6H I never went more than 2H and just usually used HB. Michael Grimaldi would use a B pencil explaining that the H was harder and for texture but Dan would always use the 2H and the H. I love your explanation of connecting to the form. I for one sound doing these exercises extremely useful. Even though I’m advanced I just love listening to you it reinforces what I learned a while back and sometimes I say oh OK I didn’t get that part. So thank you. Great channel
friend! I would like to be able to access subtitles, you have good videos, very useful. I am sure that not only English-speaking people are watching you, and the lack of subtitles reduces the effectiveness. Thank you for your understanding, good luck to you.
Thank you very much with all my heart for this valuable information. I hope it will continue with the chain of values and shading. Also, how does this all lead us to the Outline Free Hand Portrait through Block_ In and choose the correct values and measurements
Scott, great video (as always). I just wanted to say If you are using genuine Alizarin Crimson (PR83) rather than a 'permanent' version made of another pigment then that is fugitive and might fade in the future. Might be something you want to look at?
Ich finde es schade dass ihre schönen Videos leider nicht über Untertitel verfügen, sie wären für mich viel effektiver für den Lernprozess. Liebe Grüße aus Österreich
I appreciate your analytical approach in these videos and the well thought through explaining (wording, concepts) of your painting process.
Really helpful, I need to do this. As a beginner I am now at the stage where I need to learn to turn the form effectively.
You are my favorite RUclips artist. Might be because you are also a former Floridian
I always learn something from you .. best teacher 🌷🙏🏻

Great topic, very well presented, and extremely helpful! Thank you!
Sweet video man. Thanks!
I think it's worthwhile to learn this skill. I'm struggling in making the forms in my painting because I haven't learned this topic. thanks!
Great video
