  • The 18. February is the day The 100 days project begin in 2024. It’s a worldwide thing, where you commit to do a craft discipline for a 100 days. It is totally up to you what you do. This year 2024 is the fifth time I will do the challenge. I have given it some thought, what to do this year. I don't have much time, so I will only do some small mixed media pieces . Perhaps I will change something from weak to weak so it still will be exiting. I will make them and put them in my brass box. All the papers I use in the small pieces are my own gel prints. Every Saterday there will be a new video of the 7 collages for the past week.

    So glad your channel popped up for me. Your work is stuuning and beautiful. Your videos are soothing, relaxing and inspirational. No annoying music, just your calm soft voice, accent (I'm from the US) and paper and stitching sounds. I love to see your work as well as your lovely hands and beautiful variety of rings! Fantastic!

    Your work is so inspiring! I love the way you randomly pick some bits, glue them down without thinking much and end up with a beautiful piece of art every time. I already loved the idea of mixing paper, fabric and stitching but now, with the "forgotten objects" it is perfection to my eyes. Thank you! 😊

    Absolutely beautiful, each of them. Liked the different ways of attaching odd shapes of organic materials, good information.

    Wow, every one is more beautiful than the last. You have inspired me. I’ve never done hand stitching but I have paper and fabrics galore. I have a little catching up to do but I will join the challenge. I am an impatient person and small projects like this are right up my alley. Instant gratification.
    How will you display these other than in your little box?

    As everyone else I love your creativity! Wish I had a place to keep things like this, but my apartment is very small and already full with fabrics, threads and wools lol. Everyone of them would make a lovely gift ❤❤❤❤❤

      Thank you, living small = make small art, then you don’t need big amounts of the same stuff, but small amounts of different stuff.

    I love watching you work Lisbet! Your rings and nails are already interesting before you start.I also love the sounds from tearing and sticking down paper etc. of course the best thing is that you are a natural artist and are making lovely choices all the time.

      @lisbethdegn-dragenkunst  6 месяцев назад +1

      thank you. In This video I think I used some leftovers of DMC. I don’t like to use that kind of threads, not that there is anything wrong with it, but it always ends like a birds nest for me. so I use a merc. cotton on small cones from a Dutch firm called Venne.

    Did you use walnut hulls/shells or those funky smelling outer fruit parts to make the dye?

    • @lisbethdegn-dragenkunst
      @lisbethdegn-dragenkunst  6 месяцев назад +2

      I used reel walnuts. Picked from the tree just before the shell inside gets hard. Put the hole green walnuts in a pot and left the pot outside for several month. They ended up looking like a brown smashed mess. I boiled the mess for several hours. Put the mess in an old sheet and pressed the ink out. It’s that fabrics I used
