Excellent tutorials on a (seemingly) complex subject: Reaktor 6. 25 year trained classical musician here - just been getting into modular synthesis in 2017 (yea I know I'm late to the party). Prof. Vallis, you've been one of the exceptional RUclips synth instructors I've found. Thanks so much for this series, I'll be here till the end of it :)
At 2:00 you pull up a menu to do the wireless connections. How do I pull up that menu? If I right click it does not bring up that menu but another with Paste, Swap Panes, Close Pane and Save Rack as:(
I was having this problem too and searched the internet for way too many hours. Turns out the answer was way too easy. When reaktor first opens up and it asks you what you want to do, choose the option to the far right (build custom synths). Then the right click menu is there
@@andrewpaolini4323 Yes I finally found that out after hours of aganizing pain myself. We computer musicians must be so patient when we hit these walls. Thanks for the feedback.
thanks for the videos, even if i'm a bit late to the party! How do I switch from rack view to ensemble view so that the "build" right click menus become available such as in this video? thanks
Hi Owen, thanks for the great video. Two question: * why have you connected OSC A to Mixer In 3, OSC B to Mixer In 1, OSC C to Mixer In 4 and OSC D to Mixer In 2 and not OSC a to Mixer In 1 and so on? Is it to have the modulated OSCs first and the modulating OSCs second? * Why have you used just a single letter for the terminal-receiver modules? Is it so you can quicker/better differ senders from receivers?
I cant get the same sound, even if I put all knob positions at the same as the tutorials, anyone know why is that? I mostly get noise if I turn up the FM knobs. It also seems that the values on the FM knobs in my Reaktor are not the same as in the tutorial.

Great videos, I learned a lot! Please keep on going with that! Thank you!
Thank you for this generous offer of insight!
Almost smiled at the end... :)
when i right-click in the grey area, i dont have the 'Built-In Module' drop-down menu, how can I get a send?
Make sure to start with a new ensemble, not a new rack...The context menus should then appear

i think for the color of the operators in the mix. 1 with 3 and 2 with 4. Is for FM mod
8:15 sounds like someone ran over some futuristic bagpipes
