We should be exporting agricultural produces like, coconut, palm oil, cocoa, rubber, oranges, banana, cashewnut, groundnut, cassava, corn, coffee too. Most parts of the world consume these products and they can not grow them. What's stopping lazy federal government? Because they don't have to do anything when it comes to oil revenue, they just sit there and collect 60 percent. Thank you.

Totally agree with you. I would also like to add that the Chinese are robbing African countries blind. Why: African governments are signing away their raw materials from zinc, copper, mining, gold and the list goes on (look at the Congo) where their immeasurable mining has been signed away to the Chinese with the corrupt government taking the profits and the local population lives in abject poverty as is the case for all of Africa. Corrupt governments=local population living in poverty. The entire continent of Africa could be far more advanced if you people had good governance.

We export some of the things you listed. I know people that have been exporting some of those crops for more than a decade. Again, don't leave everything to government. In the West, private sector do more. Nigerians should research the area they want to invest in and INVEST. The youngest rice farmer from Nigeria is going to be 26 this year and she started like 5yrs ago. Wide Maya interviewed her. Nobody is waiting for government. Another young lady in her 20's is growing strawberries in the North on Tayo. You can visit the port in Lagos to confirm what I wrote. Many people are into export. Let me stop here!

That's a good one but we also need dredging of Oguta Lake, Calabar ,Eket ,Warri and PortHarcourr Quays expansion. In so doing the wharves will minimise maritime operational risk, logistics and cost for the people and communities in that part of Nigeria coast thereby decongesting containers at Quays of Lagos ports...

I can only imagine the jobs that are being miss their they’re probably gonna be good paying jobs I pray. I think this could help Nigeria big-time if they get the right people in office if you get the regular just take everything people in office nothing is going to change so it’s up to the people who do they feel but as far as this port, if they would open it up, I could imagine everything that Nigeria can get from jobs goods just a lot of things if they open it up maybe this is a chance for Nigeria to come out of. This is deep depression I’ve never seen in my life thank you David you’re a good guy.❤

China is doing it's part, thank you China 🇨🇳.
Nigeria don't mess this up please. America and Europe never invested this much in the country.
Look at how other nations are benefitting from their collaboration with China.
There's already a dearth of animals on Nigeria, increasing these exports will hasten their extinction. Animal skins don't fetch much anyway.

    Wake Up.
Sri-Lanka had to relinquush ownership of her seaport to China, after defaulting on the agreed terms.
Leaking seaport shall be owned and operated by 75% China and foreign groups.
Tolls and fees and costs shall be dictated and controlled, Not by Nigerian group.
Expertise and technology-transfer shall be predominantly reserved for Chinese personnel.
Once operational, security shall be exclusively run by Chinese paramilitary in mufti.
It could easily be annexed as a military transit, storage, and control base, at any time during the initial 45 year lease.
    Wake Up !!!
