    Loosing to Wang is absolutely no shame at all. Wang is the best in the world right now theres no doubt about it. Franz can really be proud of himself, what a tournament it was, great play! Hope he can keep up this strong performance for the next future events and maybe reach a top 10 placement in the world ranking, who knows? :)

      @tommymorgan9624 He was playing with nothing to lose.
      When it came to the final, he realized that he now had something to lose and didn't want to lose the final and ended up didn't play like he did before the final.
      That's human. When you realize you have nothing to lose, you play differently. You just wack the ball and the opponent will be bewildered with the quality and power of your returns.

    • @nnnp634
      @nnnp634 Месяц назад +2

      It is an extremely stupid rules there are only two participants in the Olympic games. Countries like Germany, Sweden, France and Korea deserve more than 2, let alone powerhouse like China.
      On the "flip side", China gets way easier time getting to the basketball tournament than European countries, even though a lot of them are far stronger. However, I don't see how on Earth is that a good arrangement for anyone involved. Wouldn't China prefer to have one more medal in TT than being destroyed in basketball (I'm not sure if they are in the next tournament, but talking in general). Wouldn't Latvia prefer to have an easier path to basketball tournament than easier path to table tennis tournament? It's a completely insane system which doesn't help anyone, but sadly Germans will have to leave a world class player home and China will have to leave either a World Cup champion, World championship champion or the best player in the world home
