but that's a natural response to it tho. they do the same thing in the NBA, bigger players don't get calls for certain fouls because refs feel like since they're bigger then they should be able to play through that. it makes the playing field even for the smaller guys out there in their eyes.

@@AjB-ms3kp yea i hear you, and i see where you're coming from, but thats kind of a bad take because there's different kinds of fouls you feel me? if a smaller guy is going up with the ball at the rim and gets slapped on the arm by a bigger person, then that's definitely a foul you gotta call. but if it's reversed and the bigger person gets slapped on the arm the same way trying to go up with the ball....depending on JUST HOW BIG that person is, they should definitely be able to play through it. it's a physical sport. you're gonna get fouled obviously. but they can't just let you play FOR fouls all because you're bigger and the smaller guys have no real way to stop you on defense. that just makes the game lopsided. it's also thankfully the reason a lot of smaller guards mostly adopt having "quick hands" on defense
