I was the last active duty MAC Aerial Port Advisor (605) hired by the 22nd AF assigned to support a Reserve APS at Mitchel Field in Milwaukee supporting the 95th Aerial Port Squadron reporting to the 440th TAW. I departed in July 1986. Great mission, memories, and a great team.

True American right there , two jobs ; one job for the family and a job for our nation. People giving a shit , something we don't see as much anymore.

I believe this is either very late 69 or early 70's as they show both a moon rock pickup and a C-5A which really didn't fly in service until 1970.

The "UNSUNG" persons that kept those of us on "Active" duty supplied! Thanks for the many memories of my C141 seat time, by both "Active" and "Reserve" crews!!

4:40 that was kind of funny. The bus has a sight that says Achtung Schulkinder = attention schoolchildren.

My old base, but not exactly my old plane as these are C-141A models before they were modified into "stretch" B models with air refueling added. Also the associate wing number changed to 445th. Finally mentions home base at 9:50 mark. I am sure they decided to film there because it was in SoCal. Plus AAVS was also at Norton in the old SAGE building. Sadly most of it is gone now except the hangers, runway, and a few buildings on a rather small base size wise. Still I enjoyed the video.
