Auburn plays at Arkansas before playing Alabama. Alabama plays Eastern Illinois before playing Auburn. Big difference. Someone at Auburn either doesn’t care or is not paying attention to the details. Nick Saban would have pitched a fit if Bama played LSU or Georgia right before Auburn and would propose to play a school like Chattanooga or have an off week before the Iron Bowl. Why might you ask? This would be an opportunity to rest his starters and get any players with acute/minor injuries an opportunity to heal and recover for the Iron Bowl.
