Thx for the update... I linked my bandmates to your older review when we were looking for PA speakers... I'll pass this along as well. We're likely to be upgrading sometime next year. Merry Christmas.
I have the 212d for guitar rig and ive used live sometimes. The bass is boomy as u said. I use it at about 9-10 o clock. But they do the job. The 215d we use them in the band in every gig and they deliver. Off course there are better options, but you have to pay a lot more. Thanks for your video.
I still have a pair of the first series. They still work great!!! I've had to replaced one tweeter due to I loaned the set out and they blew it out. Thinking of getting another pair just because they take a beating and they just sound better than a lot of powered speakers on the market
I have a pair of B212A, they have also proven to be reliable, about 4 years worth of use. Same issues as you have noted. Thanks for the vids, very informative and nice to hear other's experiences/reviews. What do you use for a mixer? Mike
Hi shane i hav seen your behringer speakers. A quick question can the b212d Be a good music foldback .I like a little more bass. like i herd. Its got a little more low end.Or is the b215d better at the gob.I have seen you use it as a vocal foldback. Please tell me witch is better for the gob as soon as possible. Bye for now isaac. PS: Isaac is my 9 yr old son and is absolutely music crazy! He loves watching your reviews and wants to be a sound engineer when he grows up. Please excuse the typos but he was determined to write the question all by himself! thank you
Hi, just checking because i find it so strange. Does your Behringer also says made in china like mine in Fiji? The tweeters of most Behringers in Fiji keep blowing off.
Hi Shane, have you ever played any pre recorded music through these speakers? Maybe mp3 or cd. I was simply curious of your thoughts on the sound via recorded playback. Thanks for the review and Merry Christmas to you as well. One Love, DJ Malarky out.
I'm looking at plugging in a Denon MC3000 and trying out the 215D, I'll comment back once I've heard it. Should be fine though, live or recorded, it's all the same input signal.
Hi Taylor, yes I'm sure they'll be ok however not all speakers sound the same when playing pre recorded music as it does vary between live music quality. I'm an advid active speaker user and mobile dj business owner since 1983. I was only curious because of the white color version of this model. Thanks for your input. Happy holidays. One Love DJ Malarky out.
Hi and good day mate, I have a BEHRINGER EUROPOWER PMP2000. can you teach me how to hook this active speakers from the mixer to the floor as foldback speakers for vocals? would appreciate your help mate' cheers!
chrisptad2010 I have used my PMP2000 with a pair of JBL sound factor speakers for the FOH. On one outdoor gig, with a few hundred people under a big tent, I used my Beheringer Active 212 as my monitor. I attached it to the front of the PMP2000 at the 1/4 inch monitor output, below the equalizer sliders. It was a good set up and worked great. Now, almost exclusively, I only use the single Behringer A212 and Behringer 1204FX mixer. I rarely use the PMP2000 or the JBLs anymore. I play solo accoustic elect guitar and sing. It is more than enough for the hotel gigs I play.
what is the cheapest portable Behringer model that has the mic and rca cables input. I need to play ipod and speak over Mic at same time. Thanks you! Fit for a Dance Studio.
I've had my Behringer 12" passive pa speakers for over 10 years now. They still sound great, and have never had any issues.
B 212D and B215D have the same amplifier that delivers 345w RMS. I have a pair of B212D with a 15 inch subwoofer and i'm very happy with them!

Behringer is my favorite company

How did you replace your tweeter..shop or yourself?
Behringer memang oke seperti punya saya yang baru membeli ....semoga tambah sukses selalu sobat
I actually found the 15"s to be more bass heavy for vocal foldback.. the 12"s didn't need any adjustment where as the 15"s did..

I'm my school's practice room using the 12" as a floor wedge doesn't work the feedback is unreal no matter how much EQ
Great Idea!
How about using it for multieffects?
Great vid, thx

I keep checking to see if i have another video playing, because the music is so distracting.
How could I get the board to buy
