Justin Timberlake is a privileged white man. He maintained his career while both Janet and Britney's finances and reputations were impacted by incidents involving JT. It has been over a decade and even now he barely has taken accountability for his role in both situations. Which would be the bare, though acceptable, minimum.
JT revealed intimate details of he and Britney's relationship; which was against her "virgin" image that pays her bills. He also used a Britney look a like in Cry Me a River video which perpetuated the lie that Britney cheated on him. This further tarnishing her reputation and eventually led to a domino effect to to her current legal situation.
JT and Janet allegedly conspired together on the costume malfunction, but Janet took all the heat. The situation had zero impact on JT's career and livelihood. In both situations JT wasn't mortally wrong; he was morally wrong.

For someone to say that the outcome of the event/act was not unfair (Janet basically having to have a hushed career compared to before it, Justin having not a damn thing change at all)...is pretty crazy to me.
