I remember picking up two boxes of Eevee Hero's for $185/box thinking I fell for the fomo. Now I'm upset at myself I stopped at two. Cool video idea on this one! Always keen to learn some new facts. Enjoyed it!

I think a big reason the lugia v lost a lot of value was because of the god packs in those tins. I packed it out of my first blister at Kmart and loved it but I understand why some people might undervalue it given how many videos I’ve seen of the god packs😅 another great video mate❤

@@pokeoz91 I was just talking to a guy at a card shop today about expected rises in booster boxes. He said maybe next year. The UK has just gone into recession so money is tight. Feels a bit tough here. Politically we are in a mess too.

Masterball holos are obnoxious, I love them but I have given up on a JP151 masterset. Got all those JP reverse holos tho, the poor mans masterball
It's so expensive to get them all hey mate! I wish they'd done just a touch more to them as well. Maybe a masterball stamp to finish them off 🤔
That's just not true. They reprint sets that are out of rotation all the time
What main set in the last 5 years have they reprinted out of rotation? 🤔
@pokeoz91 Sun and moon base, hidden fates, and I believe vivid Voltage
@PokeBeardTCG Sun and Moon base was a heap of additional packs that was decided to be put into ETBs as the best way to move the leftover dead stock. Vivid fell into that weird covid affected rotation policy where it pushed out an extra year, and Hidden Fates is a holiday set. I think the only out of rotation re prints we've had are hidden fates and shining fates but both are holiday sets.
@pokeoz91 restock and reprints are pretty much the same, though.
I didn’t know how much I’ve spent in the last 3 years on Pokémon but wow it was a lot 😂 scaling it back much now and only chasing older packs

lugia only fell because of that chest box that had 100% ultra rare pull. after that cracked chest came out lugia dropped hard .

Personally, i dont buy modern graded cards. Modern as in sun and moon onwards. There are just way to many out there and id rather have the in a binder
I feel like the amount of collectors to the amount of printed cards is proportionate. So I don’t really think that logic is very sound personally.
What logic? The value will go down over time. For example i only ever graded one card. My moonbreon which got a 10. Sold it for £1000. Now that card value has dropped to £750. The value will keep going down. There are tones in circulation. Its mind blowing it even still goes for that. I bought another mint copy, put it back in my alt art binder then used the money to buy a giratina alt art and lugia lol. Kept some change too. Seems like terrible logic 🤷🏻♂️ id rather buy a mint copy for a fraction of the price plastic means nothing to me. I only got it graded. Cause i knew it would get a 10 so i could sell on. I like the cards themselves.
The % increase in modern psa 10s compared to ungraded certainly isn't what it used to be!
@@pokeoz91 exactly thats what i mean. You can pick up psa 10s for like less than double the price which is crazy to think about. I just like the way they look in binders and i think the meaning behind having a “psa10” gem mint copy kinda loses its appeal when there are more than 8000 out there and are available anytime any day
@joelh90 I'm with you there, man! I get ungraded modern cards in mint condition. 2 sides to it though hey, you could also argue that for less than double you can get a psa 10. But it doesn't have that appeal of vi tage PSA 10s that are worth so much more than raw copies!
