Anybody who's anybody can do doubles and triples I just want to see how masterful I have become I am an XRT GOD 🙇 🙏 what is so good is to see how much you like this truck even though it's derived from an X-maxx and that's awesome
i really used like Traxxas I don’t much anymore tooo expensive and use same parts since I started the hobby in 1990 when I started with mechanical speed controls and build your own batteries. loved the Nitro then everything went brushless silent waterproof great. I even have there first RC pickup truck car still sealed.. the point is New trucks should be new not same bed esc everyone replaces with a max 6!?? same motor XRT stands for racing truck. i’ve been racing for over 15 years never seen a racing truck with no adjustments like turnbuckles, Camber, Toe, ect You can’t even adjust the ESC. I think of them as not innovative at all. look at the New xo-1 what did they change?? at least that a great Esc Castle!
Well you are part of the minority.. as in not many people think like you 😂 I love my xrt and don't regret forking out 1.5k on it.. it was well worth it to me and that's all that matters. That being said, something is only worth as much as someone will pay for it, and in this case 1.5k is what a lot of people have and will continue to pay for it. I do agree on the adjustment though as there are literally none.. other than the 2 other modes. Parts are somewhat cheap imho, at least the expendable ones like control arms, steering knuckles.. stuff that would normally break.

@proto12qs I don't understand where everyone gets its a racing truck.. I haven't seen anything from traxxas explaining what XRT stands for, just people assuming it's xtreme race truck 🤣 which would make sense but who'd race a bone stock rc 🤨
@ngirardo86 never said you were wrong and if you pay attention I let off before hitting. Sometimes it happens but I let off before hitting dont forget to hit that thumbs down
My buddy ran mine into a tree at about 30mph, impacted only one front tire. Upper and lower arms cracled, bent an axle, cracked the axle cup, and cracked the bottom piece the diff sits in :/.. but my arm broke exactly like yours, lost the screw too.
I got some silicone earplugs but didn't put them in my center diff yet. I was planning on putting the earplugs in my Kraton 8s EXB. Half silicone earplug/ 20 million. How many plugs should I use though?
In the xrt I did 2 and a half just pack them in tight but make sure you can put the top on I don't run half 20 million even in my outcast 8s it's just straight ear plugs in the center
I may have missed it but are you running the speed gearing or stock gearing? I’m currently running a max6 with the speed gearing. Debating tossing some ear plugs in mine like I did on my xmaxx and my Arrma 8s rigs.
Thx for all your helpful videos I know you put earplugs in but what gearing were you running on the truck if you don’t mind me asking was it all stock gears ?
I also notice you don't have the Kraton 8s in any of your videos interested to know your thoughts on it. It's very very heavy that the 1st thing that comes to mind for me 😂
@@eiriknielsen3011 depends on what kind of driving you are going to be doing, I have and love the xrt. It's faster and handles a lot better. Xmaxx is a bit more clumsy but it's like a monster truck so it has high center of gravity.. personal preference
Thanks chef I love how it drive and air control with the duratrax lockup.
I put earplugs in my center diff last night. Am waiting on Saturday after work to run the car also change the front and rear.
GUY‼️ how that wing didn't BREAK CLEAN OFF is nuts
Nope completely fine lol
You know it's cold AF when ya gotta defrost your RC 😆
Nice rip bro 👍🏻✌🏻
Why didn't you jump that hill in the background at the 10:45 mark. You should do a session on that and video it.

This thing is far from a racing truck.. not even close. U want a racing truck go buy a Tekno ET48

Cry me a river dude 😂
Definitely made a difference, took some hard hits as well, backed it in the wall better than Kurt Busch
Hey Chef, hope you and your loved ones had a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!
Love your rc shed. Subbed! 🤣
Hey bro! I'm about to do the ear plug center diff lock myself soon. KGM told me to check out your channel on the topic, here I am!!!
What rig are you ear plugging
@@chefbeardsly Look like an HPI Trophy Truggy 4.6 man. The center diff is super loose, it's almost like a FWD at this point. Going to plug it up!!
@hybrid32494 yeah im a big fan of ear plugged center diffs many of my rigs run earplugs in the center
Keep landing with it pinned like that you’ll be replacing those diffs every time you take it out.
Haven't blown a diff yet and I don't thanks for the input tho
@@chefbeardsly anyone who knows even the littlest bit about RC knows you don’t land under hard acceleration. That’s literally RC 101 bro.

@@chefbeardsly @5:27 you let off huh?
@ngirardo86 never said I was perfect hahahaahahaha like I said don't forget to hit that thumbs down
Happy Thanksgiving! Nice video. say would you recommend a powerhobby 729mbl servo upgrade?
Those are solid
can you potentially make a tutorial on how to plug and maybe what oil you run?
I can when I plug my next center diff but not sure when that will be maybe soon tho bc I did get another toy recently lol
My buddy ran mine into a tree at about 30mph, impacted only one front tire. Upper and lower arms cracled, bent an axle, cracked the axle cup, and cracked the bottom piece the diff sits in :/.. but my arm broke exactly like yours, lost the screw too.
Didn't want to buy traxxas charger and batteries so I put a max 6 in when I got home with it
I just cut the stock connectors off a soldered on the one I run lol now I had a max 6 in it
Hey man great video! Does putting earplugs in effect anything in a negative way?
Puts more strain on the other diffs but I do it in a lot of trucks
Would you recommend locking the center diff of a crawler l? I’m on the fence right now.
@leolux09 that I'm not sure on for a crawler
Chef, did you notice if the earplugs helped the push the truck has at all?
I dont know what you mean

Speed gearing
I'm not understanding the earplugs... what's supposed to happen?
@@adammilan6434 locks up the center diff
What batteries have you found that can go directly into the xrt besides the traxxas batteries?
I'm running zeee 9000mah 100c packs
Thx for all your helpful videos I know you put earplugs in but what gearing were you running on the truck if you don’t mind me asking was it all stock gears ?
Nice bash! Hopefully we can meet up there again soon.

Never was a fan of the kraton I love my outcast 8s the kraton is a nice truck but I like the shorter wheel base of the outcast
Bro I got my xrt it's crazy big didn't think it was that big
I need to know, should i buy an xmaxx or an XRT? I got an kraton fully m2c, a outcast 6s and a maxx v2. Im so unsure what to get!
Thats a hard call man those are all different and different price ranges

Do earplugs make it faster or just be able to do backflips?
Maybe a little but it's more for air control

What do u mean center diff?
The center differential there's 3 differentials in the truck front center and rear
