They cant just use the " we are intimidated/ sunbaes are intimidating" reason for not approaching and greeting their sunbaes first. It has been a long tradition and these sunbae artists right now have gone through this phase aswell (even taewoo, a big sunbae himself got the common sense to go and greet his sunbaes). This just shows the sad fact how the system is changing.
I think after this happened a lot more rookies started going to greet their seniors, 2PM said that when they made a comeback recently so many juniors came to greet them that they couldn't get through the corridor
