  • Members of the 220th Engineer Company recently held a platoon competition to find which squad could set up camouflage netting the fastest during annual training. The camouflage netting provides concealment for items or personnel from enemy view. (Thanks again to 2LT Brandon Kessler of the 220th Engineer Co., for the video)

That is concealment, not cover. Words have meaning.

As a prior Regular Army Paramedic we use to set up our GP medium and Large with camo net in total blackout night moves and break down on a march order within a half hour all gear loaded and moving out to another position. Some days we would do it 2-3 times in one night.....!

These are always entertaining. No one runs around like that, anywhere but in demo, because you make mistakes bigger than any benefit you'll get from saving a minute and note that less than a minute in, they're already winded, moving in slomo and dropping stuff. Always good fun, though 😉

Cover? That net's not stopping a round.
    It's concealment.

These are for anti long range, like aircraft or far off spotters who may also have other obstructions in their way. If they're close, you're already not going to put these up.
