This kinda reminds me of how my 4th grade art teacher used to play the High School Musical soundtrack while we did projects. Ahh how the time flies! Disney music stands the test of time regardless of the generation it comes from it seems.

One thing I noticed after listening to this instrumental soundtrack, is how well the composers on "Encanto" wrote conflict and resolution into the music. Classical music is a good example, but every good song tells a story with its melody, rhythm, and chords. There's a growth at the beginning, then it's changed in the middle by a key or a tempo shift, and comes to an end where the song returns to its original state. Every song in "Encanto" does this, especially "Surface Pressure" and "We Don't Talk About Bruno".
Oh ye I realised that like when luisa is singing "keeps growing, keep going cause all we know is pressure that drip drip drip but will never stop " it builds and builds and then goes really quiet and with the visuals that whole part is very intense o.o
The music itself made encanto very popular haha especially we don't talk about Bruno trending on tiktok same with surface pressure
Yep, also I noticed that Abuela's part in "The family Madrigal" has the same melody as "Dos Oruguitas", just faster and more upbeat. Nice detail (after all, Lin Manuel Miranda never disappoints).
@@tommysun2448 That happens a couple times in the movie, where a melody from another song is put into another. I think in "What Else Can I Do", Mirabel and Isabela have a duet and Mirabel is singing the melody of "The Family Madrigal"
