- Here are the top 5 things I’m preparing for in 2023 based on indicators I’ve seen from last year into this one, where I’m ultimately putting my focus this year, and of course where I’ll be taking my videos to further show how to better harden our position against them.

If.... as some people believe, most of the shortages are a direct result of climate change policy(reducing consumption to save the world)....2023 could be worse than last.....
It's to fast no I can barely keep up with all the disaster,s I gotta come up with a new strategy in order to convey all of this I think
Back in 1965 I asked my jr. high school science teacher what they would do if Russia dropped "the big one" while we were in school. His honest answer: "We'd probably send you home to die there". Funny, but more true now than ever.
I hope it just stays funny!
Justin, one thing you can add to the list that doesn't cost any money is...improving your health. I'm 61 and have made a thousand excuses of being overweight and out of shape. Not any longer. I've set small weekly goals that challenge me but does not overwhelm me. I'll never be the young, hard charging Marine I once was, but I can lose weight and gain strength and stamina. Whatever the future holds, being in the best possible shape you can be is a good way to face it.
That’s awesome Tom. Making time for something like fitness is critical. I’ve started reading a book called Atomic Habits as I’m moving some of my own priorities around for fitness. Has to get done.
That is what I am doing myself!! I am a 67 year old woman but in high school I was very athletic! Track and jumping hurdles and long jump! So I know I still have that stamina in me! It's just starting to work out and eating correctly! Good luck to you! Know there are others doing the same thing you are doing! Especially us older folks!!!
@@jerseystotler3615 Outstanding! Thanks for the encouragement.
The president of the United States that it was going to be a shortage get ready it's real and it's coming too many people are not ready but what is coming
Summary of his prepping focus in 2023:
1.) Food shortage/supply chain issues
2.) Wildfires in Cali
3.) The Economy
4.) Russian invasion of Ukraine
5.) Power grid failures/attacks
+have hope and prep! 👍
SSDD😂
Yup. All of these are being warned by many preppies on you tube. Scary times. Get your home ready. Know Jesus is coming back for those who believe.
FIRST: DON'T PANIC! That's one reason I like this channel; you don't sugarcoat but you don't stoke fear and panic either.
It is doom and gloom, but some things we have no power over. It’s important to focus on what we can do to protect ourselves and families. Focus on where our power is. Not stress over things we can’t control.
Exactly!
Great to see a channel where you don't feel you have to scare the crap out of people 24/7 to get people's attention.
Thanks for watching!
legit top prepper dude on youtube i love that you don't get into crazy shit and keep it 100
I try! Thank you for your support!
@@PracticalPreparedness I just wish u posted more but I can’t be greedy cuz you always have valuable content and you don’t over saturated it talking about bs. Thanks for keeping it real and level headed 🙌🏾🙌🏾
My friend, I only watch three prepper channels. Yours, DIY Prepper, & City Prepper. You three are legit, calm, sensible, and know what you are talking about. Keep up the good work.
@@sweynforkbeardtraindude those r my favs too lol
@Young Gouki If things go my way, I will be posting a lot more. It’s definitely been tougher lately, but should be changing.
@Sweyn Forkbeard very kind of you to say, I can tell you that this type of support keeps us going
The weather man can’t tell me what’s happening in 5 minutes… how do they know this was the worst in 12,000 years 😂
Best guess I suppose!

Cool video thanks.
Glad you liked it!
I turned my money into merchandise, to be able to Barter for about 60 days, the interim time will be able to trade product for service or exchange
I'll be baking a one year supply of hardtack this spring. I also need a recurve bow and arrows, and bicycle.
What do yo mean you can't just change definitions??? lol. My county in NY had a cyber attack. the entire county that had anything to do with the government (social services, legal aid, title searches etc etc) was at a stand still for 3 months. if we got hit with any of the things that could take down the grid, or a least a larger area then just a county its going to be complete mayhem. Just trying to stay prepared for anything that may come our way. Thanks for your videos!! love you dont just spread the fear!
Lol, it us scary if you sit and think about it. Thankfully we have control. Crazy about that cyber attack. 3 months can be a really long time and devastating depending on the services disrupted
solid video
Thanks Manny!
Good stuff and on point, as usual, thank you.
Something to consider, all of the things you’ve mentioned aren’t new or unique to our current times.
Before the internet and 24 hr news, all these things and more were around, we just weren’t bombarded with it daily which then can cause fear, anxiety, etc.
Do I think the things you mentioned are relevant? Most definitely! It’s all about perspective however and using some common sense and critical thinking 😉
We’ll said!
Ooh, look at thumbnail boy, flashing the wealth for us to drool over :-D
That bread looks good!
I built a Faraday Cage re Carrington Event. I'm studying HAM radio too.
Good practice and skill. Comms is underrated
Food, water , electricity, medical, heat, Those are my top 5 which I have already addressed this is the year to bolster those things. Continuing to dial it up.
Mad MAX for the prepared will be a "BLAST" hehehe!
While I do see WWIII as an increasing threat, there's not much I can do about it other than sticking to my basic prepping. I do see a long term grid down and food shortages as major threats and hopefully I'm doing the best I can for those situations.
It’s all you can do!

Commie4nia lakes are still low overall. Lake Berriessa is still way below the Glory Hole vent, Shasta Lake is only 42% full overall. The smaller lakes are filling well, but the biggies are way low !
Didn’t solve all the problems unfortunately :/

We, as a society, messed up when we started letting emotions dictate our financial security... May God bless us all, Amen 😇
What advice would you give someone who lives in an apartment, as far as starting a garden? Any inside type gardens I can start?
Take advantage of any outdoor areas or sunny windows with contain gardens. Grow lights are great if you need more light. Or bean sprouts which don’t need any light or soil. I grow mine in a strainer in my kitchen drawer in 4-5 days.
Thank you
I have a 5 shelf metal rack that fits 10"x20" microgreen trays. I have inexpensive rectangular LED grow light panels zip tied to the undersides of the shelves, which gives me 4 shelves to grow on. The lights daisy chain to each other and can go into one electrical outlet. It's in a south facing window so I do get daylight if the power goes out. I get bulk seeds from Johnnys Seeds online. I grow my greens and veg in bins outside on my patio, but I start many of those seeds on my shelves, like tomatoes and squash. I direct sow my greens. With microgreens you can grow to baby green size as well.
My experience is closer to Sheila’s, where friends of mine that have always lived in an apartment would grow in pots on their small walk-out decks.
Just enough for a couple of chairs and tons of pots with misc garden plants.
@Practical Preparedness Yes you can do a lot in a small space with bins and pots. Think various salad mixes and other nutritious greens, and look up succession planting. For something like tomatoes go with prolific cherries like Super Sweet 100. They are indeterminate and keep producing, will grow in vines that can be trellised. For upper balcony spaces use empty plastic bottles in the bottom of deeper bins to reduce the amount of soil used and hence weight.
My concern is when produce gets too expensive or people are hungry, you may find all your crops plundered in the middle of the night. I had that happen to a persimmon tree, went out to pick what the squirrels hadn't ruined and all the fruit was gone. Also happened to a lime that was packed with fruit. Picked completely bare!
If this is of interest to you or your audience....“The Ony State Capital Where You Can’t Drink the Water” Practical Engineering channel Grady explains about the operations of clean water plants, this one is specifically Jackson, MS. Lots of good info…never know what we may need to pull out of our hats.

Doomsday clock was moved to 90 seconds to midnight, so Preparedness must be taken a bit more seriously, im selling my goats to grow more on property, I'm building a chicken bunker to raise chickens for meat and eggs 🥚, power and water I already have on lock 🔐
Not the goats! :) Chickens are the way to go IMO. If I could swing it, chicken and goats.
@@Jean.A.squirrel The clock moves backwards as well, so yes it can be a very long time, the clock is at 90 seconds to midnight because of moves the US and EU are doing right now in Ukraine, good chance WW3 starts this year, Food shortages would get worse considering armies run on food, food would go to the war effort. It's better to be prepared now than later.
@@PracticalPreparedness goats 🐐 are a pain in the ass, they are always escaping and pooping 💩 all over the place, but I have sheep 🐑 on property that don't escape and don't give a hard time, im also bringing in rabbits this year, rabbit cages is the next project, its a fast constant meat source that will provide fast easy cold compost.
+1 on the rabbits. Chicken and rabbit is a solid duo

Read 48 Hours Later by William R Forstchen. It's about a CME. The main scientist is a great grandson?? of Carrington. I've got raised veg beds.
Interesting, I’ll check it out

They need to lower the food prices. No sence of going to the grocery store with less then 50 dollars. You aint going to get much. Freaking candy bar is 4 dollars in houston tx. Pfft. Dam shame. Need a new president.
All true. Eat dirt.
+1
My favorite conspiracy theory is that everything is gonna be all right...
Vert well said. Funny how it’s always spun the other way around…
What does depression mean, have they made a meaning for that yet
A recession is when your neighbor losses his job/resources, a depression is when you do😢.
i will tell you just one thing , price of pasta pack have go from 0,45 euro to 0,85 in the last 2 years , and is the same for a lot of products , shit is getting worst ,
they use ukraine for every thing we have lots of grane here in canada
I was in Cleveland Ohio when the grid crashed in 2003. It was no fun!
And if/when you get a chance, Google how many power plants have been decommissioned within the last 5 years. That's the REAL problem.
Add all of the EVs on the road and our population growing=more strain.
Here's an odd prediction:
World wide blackout during the Superbowl. Probably during the halftime show. If I'm right, I'm (sadly/unfortunately😔😪) right.
Very true, I didn’t cover that.
The cost and time it takes to replace the Super Conductors is what REALLY concerns me as well
No I don’t want my anything or anyone cut in half, I know the Bible story.
Thanks for watching S
Antifreeze is toxic. Use isopropyl alcohol instead. On the higher end, replace all your pipes with pex pipe. They might freeze but won't burst.
"Neo-nazis" is the last thing that I'm worried about.
And remember, this administration considers all white men as "white supremacists".
