I hope so too. This seems only an issue with live-streaming and not as a video conferencing tool using usb. I passed along this issue to atomos so fingers crossed
It’s an issue for me either way since unfortunately my cameras (Olympus E-M10ii and Canon m200) don’t have external mic in, so my hope is to sync the HDMI camera with mica coming into the Zato via its 3.5mm jack. 🙏 As you noted in my vid and I’ve been lamenting on RUclips and Twitter, info is very thin and even promised features (like picture-in-picture) are still forthcoming.
Thanks for the info regarding the difference in LUT support, was looking for this specifically. Does the Zato have any monitoring tools like false color and scopes?
Hi Kevin, do you think the Atomos zato could be usefull if I want to stream from multiple cameras that are in different places and connected to internet, maybe through atomos cloud studio (I can’t find much information about that on the website) and switch from camera to camera). Thank you (sorry if the question is stupid, I’m new in this field). Have a good day
ahhhhhhh you want the atomos connect for the ninja v. Mavis is the software that's designed to do exactly what you're talking about and as of right now, the Atomos Connect and the Shogun Connect are the two devices that will all for that to happen. There is a workaround where you could use the zato connect as a webcam for a computer and then connect to something like Streamyard where you could switch cameras from multiple places as well
That’s a great suggestion and I’ve considered that, but for users who don’t want to make that kind of investment or are that resourceful, this isn’t a practical solution. You might as well get the shogun connect
Hey, can i connect a 5g simcard dongle to it to stream via mobile internet?
Hoping Atomos will give us an audio delay for improved sync (like the ATEM Mini line)

No monitoring tools unfortunately. Just aspect ratio safe guides but that’s it. No false colors, peaking or any of that stuff
