Triple G aint the same fighter he once was, for all we know he retired quietly. I seen triple G toughest 3 last fights versus Derevyanchenko, Murata and last Canelo fight. In all those fights he took some big shots but he looked like he lost a step. Over 40 years of age he is passed his better days.
Abel also said Spence beats Crawford… then made excuses for Spence. Enough said.

Well he’s older but also you gotta remember it’s a new weight class he fought Canelo at. People always underestimate how much a single weight class or 2 can change your style. Everyone criticizes Canelo for not throwing as much volume as he once did but fail to realize he was at 160 when he fought the likes of GGG and Jacobs. At 168 he’s more economical with his output because he knows that the extra mass on his body tires him faster than he would at 160.

@@raghurajaram700 The second fight wasn’t a robbery just really close and the first fight yeah GGG won but they ruled it a draw so it’s not the worst outcome. Sadly GGG could have corrected any doubt the second fight but he was put on the back foot the entire night.

No because he is 22-2-1 (20) by ko in world title fights and tied Hopkin's all time consecutive middleweight title defense record of 20, but doing it in much more devastating fashion than Hopkins did, knocking out 18 of the 20. Golovkin also had his string of 23 straight KO'S most of which were world title fights. He will be a Hall of famer because he is a middleweight legend.

GGG beat Canelo 2 times. The 3rd fight was kind of a weird sparring match where neither guy had a mark on their face. I was expecting a 40 year old GGG to take more punishment than he did in the first two fights, from a prime Canelo. It didn't happen. It was a fake fight, for a payday IMO.

Abel got the shaft from Golovkin and his team when they essentially fired him after Golovkin's $100MM contract with DAZN. For him to say anything nice about him shows Abel has a big heart. That being said, someone needs to show Abel a calendar: It's 2023, not 2010. Munguia would devour Golovkin. So would Berlanga. No question.
Even the washed version of GGG would beat Berlanga. Munguia? Not sure.
