    I like the awl, but I splurged the 12 bucks on a speedy stitcher instead of using the homemade version.

    AWESOME to know, THANX!! What kind of string/thread are You using? I been eyeing that 20.00 sewing awl at wal mart but I have heard good things about the harbor FREIGHT one? I will hafta compare the 2 but I def need one!!!

    You can also backstitch one hole from the end.

      yep..i use vicks vapor rub..place a small amount on my temples and under my eyes gnats will stay away..you will have to re apply every hr or so
