I’m so happy to get back in the shop! What should I post next? FAQ- Chest Vest goo.gl/qywmMK
DIY Creators make vase for flowers (im not god at english)
make an upgraded infinity mirror
upgrade it like do you want
Glenn make a pit bed. Or like a sunk in bed that's closed off on all sides
make a desk super nice and big of wood and hide leds.... but at your style, you know ;)
DIY Creators I would love another of the limited tools series (I think that’s the name I forgot)
Awesome work, Glenn! Good to see you back, man.
Thanks man, Thrilled to be back in the shop.
Great video, I appreciate that you don't edit out your mistakes, in my opinion that is what separates the best makers from the rest. Keep it up!
Thank man, mistakes happens. I look at my videos as prototypes, I'm making these for the first time. I share the mistakes so no one makes the same one.
Mistakes are an important part of any creative process. If you can't embrace them, learn from them and improve, then, what the heck are you doing!
Agreed. If you don't show the mistakes, someone will make them. Thanks for another great project.
Brandon Sturms B
Brandon Sturms you had 99 likes I make that 100. Isn't that good.
Very nice Glenn. My son and I always enjoy your projects. We both get inspired. He built a bed for college that was inspired by your platform bed.
Thank you, That is awesome to hear :)
I love your projects. I also appreciate that you don’t edit out your mistakes, you own them and explain how you make them right. Keep up the great work.
Thank you. :)
Happy to see you well and back in the shop. Love the work sir!
Happy to be back. Thank you :)
Hello. Can i ask you a question What is the name of the paper you put on the wood. Is how you fix it
Thinks
Glad you’re safe and back fam. This project is amazing.
Thank you, Same here.
Is he in Houston or California
I love how this looks! What a great design, and I love how you broke down the whole progress. Great build, and incredible finished product!
As always, simplistically beautiful.
Thank you
Man video after video you are killing it!!!
Thanks, man :D i'm just trying to get better.
What talent and creativity. Fantastic your projects. Greetings from Spain!👍
Hi, my friend you also here, we are watching the same video 😁
Glad you came up on my feed. Love how you incorporate simple solutions for people who don't have a shop full of expensive tools.
Never ceases to amaze bro...glad you're back in action and Irma didn't keep you down for to long..it was a mad house down here in Miami.
Great job! You should do more of these videos out of your comfort zone. Sometimes the simple looking designs are challenging to build, but well worth it. I definitely saw some design commonalities with my "Rings of Saturn" light, but also got some ideas from this video about how I could improve it when I make the video for Rings of Saturn version 2.0. I really liked the idea of hiding the wires under the veneer.
I agree, I really want to tackle more design like such. You did a great job with all your projects. I'm sure I will learn something from you.
Thanks! I've definitely learned a lot from you. I'm excited to see more projects from you where you don't worry about trying to make a build simple or inexpensive, and just focus on making the design as cool as possible.
Yes, I plan to do more of those. I'll mix it up to trying and balance the of the audience. Working a schedule, hopefully, that helps.
Yup, you've worked hard and have a well deserved following, so I think you are entitled to a few self-indulgent builds :)
I need to find a man like you! Amazing little thoughts that brought this project together.. New subscriber! Love from Sydney, Australia xo
Love the minimalist look of this, thanks for sharing......you're soooo clever!
Started this over the weekend. Have wanted to make LED lamps for myself but always get lost browsing catalogs as to what to get. Your materials list along with video instructions have finally gotten me over the edge. Thanks!
I love your videos and your diys they are so modern and amazing 😉 keep up with the good work😊😀
I remember when you were just starting out, and then I knew you would become big :D. Happy to see the channel growing!

Found 2 legends here after 4 years
Turned out great Glen, love the simplicity of the design.

Thank you Glenn! Everything you do is clean and proper!
Dayuuummmmm
Nice
Thank you
Glad your shop is back in working order. I like the lamp with the contrast of light and dark from the stand, looks nice all in all.
You always combine woodwork with electronics very well. You're really a good craftsman !
❤❤❤!!!
Class
Thanks.
Nice project Glenn! You did a great job on the electrical stuff.
I tend to like the base you made for the lamp.
Thank you, yes the base does add a little edge to the over all look.
Will try this they look beautiful. LED like these they sell in IKEA and to make the square holes there are square hole drills out there.
It'd be nice if you can integrate that led to be hidden within the wood. It'll give a sleek clean look.
🙋👍👍👍👍👍
You do such a good job explaining as you build, thanks for the video, awesome project!
Really enjoy your ingenuity in making the tools you don't have, problem solving at it's best! Nice end result too.
you're a freakin genius!! you should have your own website for selling these at a reasonable. dont charge like 200$ for it lol
Montreal NightLife lol this probably took him a load of time maybe 4-8 hours. this dude is pulling in wayyyyy more than that per day with his skill set
👍🏼👍🏼
Super happy to subscribe sir, thank God for keeping you all safe!
Great job with the lamp

What a clever idea for a lamp. As with this project, I really enjoy your channel! Keep up the good work!!
Damn
I love the way you explain everything. It makes us feel that we can aspire to improving our skills, as you are obviously professionally competent, but encouraging to newcomers. You are a great role model!
Glen, you make some of the sharpest looking projects!!! Kudos to you Sir!!! Please keep'em coming!
🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒🖒👏👏👏👏
с такими инструментами сделать настолько неаккуратно нужно постараться
Меня больше удивляет, клеща у нас что то делают или это старая коряга, или ЛДСП в 16 мм, а у них часто толстые массивы дерева и красивые
It's great to see your videos again sir. Fantastic work, as always. Wish you much success!
Brilliant stuff. Loving your work.
4:39 how many clamplssss?????😶😶
you can never have too many clamps :)
I was just about to make this exact post^! I dont care if you have 100 clamps, you'll need 103. Or clamps that are larger
:D
a few
Melius est abundare quam deficere
😂
That was one if the best videos I've seen on here in a while! A lot of nice techniques and shortcuts!! Thanks!
Glad to see you back safe and sound. Great project. Love the lamp!
Thank you
Nice you got job inikea bro check ur email
Love watching your videos and creative builds. Keep them coming!
Hey man, your work is very inspiring, I love it and also, you are one of the few who actually talks through the production. Keep up the good work, Greetings from Ireland ;)
Absolutely stunning..... stylish lamp. Good work man.
Nice job! Really like how you showed how to set up the router table to do the pattern cutting. Also how you routed the groove for the wire to run through. I might try to do this one at some point in the future. Only change I might make, if I build it, is to add a jack to accept the plug from the power supply. It night have to be epoxied in, but wouldn't be that much harder. And shouldn't be as subject to wear and tear as where the wire now goes through. Nice showing how to do the strain relief and all, as well. Even heat-shrinking and soldering the connections. You didn't miss a thing! Thanks for the build! Great project!!!
Love it! I think I'll do the same but use Pallet wood for the frame since it's already wide.
GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR FAMILY, you are an real artist.
Big thanks from Africa Morrocco.
I’m so happy your back up and running can’t wait to see what content you create next... have you done super sleek modern floating shelves ??? I would love to see that if you haven’t done that already
Thank you for sharing your talent! I like the way you explain, you go straight to the point.
Dear Glenn, glad to see you healthy and of good spirit after the hurricane! awesome as always. greetings from germany!
Wow, that lamp is gorgeous! Great job!
DUUUUDE ! This was the most simple yet most satisfying wood work I have ever seen :D
How did I never see your channel before !! WOW Great job man! Keep it up !
Looks very sleek and modern!
I also like the fact that you can use it with and without the base.
Thank you. The base is optional for this reason :)
You do such beautiful work, man!
Really liked it, the way you explained it and went over your mistakes and the solutions to them.
Nicely done. Just a note for future reference. To apply veneer to internal curves, try one of those bean-bags people use to warm up their sore neck or shoulders. Just put it in the microwave for a minute on high; it is flexible so it will conform to the curve and it stays hot for quite a while. You can still use the iron for flat surfaces.
I was watching your videos the other day and finally got the inspiration to start my own channel! Thanks for your videos they are great!
subscribed just to encourage you do your thing man cant wait for your content
Great work! Its the third project I've seen you done. Keep up the great work, you're inspiring others to create. Cheers
The clamp to support the piece when you were finishing up the cut, great idea. Thanks
Great build easy and efficient! Plus adds a little beauty to a desk top !
I love it!
This actually very awesome, creative and beauty.
Being watching your videos for sometime as I'm taking on woodworking as a hobby and I have to say "all good", genius ideas and deserve duplicating my way to not make a copy of your work, very nice, keep it up, you inspire me, thank you!
Really nice concept and execution. I think you’re right about using the less invasive led strip lights. Perhaps they can be app controlled?
Nice project! I can already envision where a lamp like this is going to go in my house.
That is one beautiful simple good looking hand made lamp , love it Sir!
That was simply beautiful. Man, you rock! 😄
Cool project! Glad to hear you and your family made it through the hurricane. Welcome back
Thank you, Happy to be back
I am today finishing this lamp (2 to be exact). It's my first woodworking project and it's fun to do. Thanks for giving me the idea.
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time. Merry Christmas!
Great build/job Glen. I see the little one is around the shop as well, start them young! Keep up the great content. Well appreciated indeed.

Man that's a beautiful lamp. Great job Glen. Love the marking jig tip.
Thanks man! haha if there is a will there is a way.
I really love all your videos. I learn so much from how you explain things.
Looks like a great way to make a lighted picture frame, or a light box for tracing, etc.
Great project!! Happy to have you back on, glad you and your family are OK! Thanks for sharing!
Thank you, really happy to be back in action.
