Love the choir, but wish their voices could be heard better on the recording. To me, both the piano and the cello are too loud compared to the choir, at least from the recording.
You are right! My recorder was too fast from the choir and I'was not allowed to do multi track recording during the service. Recently, I found another place to set up the recorder. Do check this out. ruclips.net/video/viTXMpW0o14/видео.html This time, I put the recorder in between the choir and piano. It achieved a better balance between piano and choir.
@@isaaclam1444 Thank you for replying. I'm glad my comment wasn't taken as a criticism (I was afraid it might). I heard young people choir from the link. The balance is much better as you said and the choir can be clearly heard, despite the fact that the choir members were wearing face masks! Great job on the video editing as well. @@joncaju You are welcome! Recording at the service is very challenging. We need to keep the set up minimal. The PA guys already have their own set up and mine is an extra. I'm glad the digital recorder has pretty good sound quality and I don't have to deal with the cables.... Singing with face masks is really painful but this is the best way to protect each other at this moment. Cheers!
