Such kind cryptid thieves, rather than breaking into places to steal stuff, they go ahead and reorganize them for the owner’s convenience :)
If I had a nickel for every time Stephen broke into Josh’s room while he was doing a livestream in 2023, I’d have three nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s certainly amazing that it’s happened thrice. 😂

I know everyone is talking about josh's bit and it is funny. But what blew me away more in this video was Mal starting Persona 5 Royal. Especially when that's a game I replay maybe once a year, and I just so happened to start my 2023 replay this month as well.

So remember sometime last year when I commented on the vlog where Stephen uses too much pepper that THAT vlog and the vlog where Mal loses it on New Year's where Stephen accuses her of not knowing how to properly drink out of a glass were my two favourites? Yeah... you can go ahead and add this one to the list. I was dying at Josh trying to figure out why the bazooka had moved while everyone was back on the couch losing it. So good.
That is the most chaotic good thing I have seen in awhile. An I'm so here for it.
The only thing better than that inventory reveal is the fact that it happens to be set to my favourite EarthBound tune. 🎶⚪️🎶

Looks like I’m the third person here who can claim this as their birthday vlog 😅 love finding more birthday twins~ (also I wasn’t able to catch Jepson live so I’m glad to have this recap every week 🎉)
If I remember right when I played through blind years ago, I think I was suggested to stop and get the Sword of Kings by ether a friend or one of my brothers, and got it after not a huge amount of grinding. Though it does feel like one of those items that's more for min-maxing rather than something you really should go out of your way for. Though I say that, I remember finding Poo rather weak compared to everyone else, all sizzle no steak kind of character.
Kind of sad I don't have my full experience with Earthbound documented, because around that point I had decided to stream the last parts of the game so I could take some weight off myself from doing three series all at the same time, and I didn't think to download the streams from Twitch and upload them onto my RUclips.
I will say, for as good as the game is, I do find myself struggling to remember much of the game. I remember the final battle being rather cool, and I remember struggling with Fourside, but past that it is rather hazy. It just never stuck with me like other really good RPGs did, though it was and still is competing for space with games like the first two Star Ocean games, as well as Final Fantasy 4/6/9. Though it's likely that's because I only ever played it once, and have replayed all of those others MANY times. Replaying Star Ocean Second Story is something I do at least once a year, quite a few years I play it twice.
Still want to sit down and play Mother 3 some day, I've only really seen the first maybe 2 hours of that game. Might poke it after I finish my Star Ocean binge. (Star Ocean The Second Story r releasing in a little over a month, if you like cool RPGs with a lot of character and characters to pick and choose from(there are 11 different recruit-able characters that we know of for SSr and you get 6 of them per play through) give it a go!)

I really hope Mal enjoys Persona 5! I played the base version right when I was 16, and it was one of my favorite games of all time, only getting surpassed by the Royal version. It's a great time.

Okay, I looked at the vod, there's literally only 3m 29s between josh saying "i'm going to take a break" and stephen starting to change the items
1: holy crap stephen, you guys must have freaking ran to the car and started it within like 20s
2: either stephen's a maniac driver who needs to be stopped or they live very close to each other (in my head i like to think its the first one, but i know its probably the second one)
3: how the hell do you pull something like this off in just under 3m 30s (+1 minute of frantic inventory managment)

I am playing Earthbound currently as a first timer. How do you organise your items?
One time my brother snuck into my room while I slept, grabbed my copy of Pokémon Pearl, and traded my Dialga back to him for a Kricketune. Context- we had a race to see who would beat the game first, and I won, and the prize was the loser trades their boxart legendary to the winner. And he was not a gracious loser about it. This, however, is _far_ funnier than that. XD

Persona 5 royal has become one of my favorite games of all time. I couldnt stop myself from playing it. Just finished it for the 5th time within the last year because I couldnt stop starting a new game right after I beat it XD

Whoa, I don't know what you did with the framerate or what else was exactly changed, but my brain *very much* did not like it, holy crap. I'm glad you're just experimenting and having fun and this isn't a permanent change, because that was awful for me. It felt like somehow everything moved slower than it should. I had to actually check if I didn't somehow accidentally changed playback speed even though I've never done that before and the audio didn't sound slowed down or anything.
He's been playing around with various camera options on his new phone in recent vlogs, that's probably what this is.
