After hearing the whole story, I have a few thoughts. Sally socialization was probably based off of obsession and that she couldn’t have a normal thought process when it came to making relationships. I feel like maybe the parents accidentally assumed that anti socialization thing was something dealing with making friends, but in reality it was obsession. Which is completely understandable because parents are only parents for the first time and doctors don’t explain too well and that’s why therapy exists because the world is money hungry. There are so many causes for obsession indefinitely with brain injuries that can lead to psychotic tendencies and they should’ve got her further help and not cuddled her. However, this is only their first time being a parent and this is the only their first time living so cut the parents slack. However, for Mayah, I hope she gets everything she prayed for. For Sally’s husband he’s a sick person for taking advantage of that lady.

Yeah lol that part actually made me do a small scream. I hate the feeling of being chased SO MUCH bruh. Could literally be my grandma chasing me and it’s still horrifying to me 😭 They did a great job at building suspense there with the repeated step, which is often just a audial bug, but also puts you on edge.
