Hey Josiah, watched your 3 yr old videos and loved how you direct and react with the clients. You are very good at that. Those videos are very helpful to prospective wedding shooter.
With these wedding videos, the cold hard truth is the only people who really care about watching a wedding video, is the family or close friends. I follow the best "Ray Roman" and he doesn't get that many views. People want to see the "how to do" a wedding, me also. So could you do the video and do a talk over, and stop it. Explain how you directed the couple, what stabilisation you used and camera settings. For example. Like "I wanted to do a push in shot then transition to the couple so did this here". This would be very educational for the viewers.
Just to say, i can see how you and your wife have improved heaps in the last three years, this video looks expensive and high quality. Lovely grading too. Nice work.

So these videos aren’t for photographers to learn from… these videos are uploaded for the client to be able to view on RUclips and for SEO purposes when someone searches “wedding video” + “venue name.” I just don’t have a separate RUclips channel that I upload these to.

@@JosiahBlizzard Oh okay, thanks for the feedback. When I do this I keep them unlisted and send the client the link. I do this as my channel has nothing to do with my corporate wedding work “cycling channel”. They can view and share with family without the general public finding and viewing. Maybe I am a bit dumb, what is the initials SEO for? Thanks 🙏

@@waynosfotos search engine optimization - essentially ranking when searching on Google or other search engines. And since RUclips is the second largest search engine behind Google, I don’t want to unlist videos like this because I’ve had bookings come from clients who found my wedding videos here.
