Quaker parrot Care

- Quakers are just like other four-legged pets; they need to be fed with a quality diet, their proper hygiene should be maintained, they need some playtime, and they need some of the owner’s time too. And while doing so, moderation is the key. If the owner couldn’t maintain a balance while maintaining Quaker’s routine, it might backfire. So, making a set schedule and adhering to it is the best way to care for a Quaker. For the first time owners, having an avian pet can be overwhelming during the initial months.

You forgot to add, the are VERY stubborn, very crazy, and due to their unique wings they can hover and even fly backwards. They are also adorable and bond quickly and are great talkers.. You mentioned none of this. Also do bi annual visits, every six months.

@@fahadalhumoudi3910 it's sad, i expirienced it with a dog, horse, and a bird... I know the feeling
@@ale_x579 same but luckily still not with the dog (but It was a cat)
@@futurefreefliers5861 I'm sorry... but it's life (doesn't mean it's not sad
@@ale_x579 yeah, I lost about 5 pet birds...
I cried so much, especially for a baby budgie that was not growing, I hand fed her for 15 days then she collapsed at 20 days old 😭😭💔
I also have a Quaker parrot
Where are his parents?
I have a Quaker parrot that looks exactly like yours, but he’s starting to lose feather on top of his head. Idk why? My parents say it might be the food I give him.
Hmm.. Never heard about it. Is it just pinned feathers maybe. Do you feed him anything unusual? :=)
@@quakerparrotandlovebirds1138 It could probably be pinned feathers. He usually eats seeds and fruits. But I did catch him munching on toilet paper once.
@@consueloamortegui3099 Usually they Nimble on a lot of stuff, even grind it with beak, but not swallow it. I hope he didn't actually eat a paper. Try letting him having a bath more often also.. So he gets those feathers wet and clean.
Feed him Pallets only, and offer him treats sunflower seeds periodically.
Ma come vi viene in mente di mettere strisce di carta con inchiostro ad un piccolo pappagallo, e poi raccomandate massima igiene per il suo bene?
