I wonder if the empreinte is the same size as the monogram version? LV have discontinued the monogram so I may buy the empriente and that’s if they haven’t discontinued it 😢
Who cares about trends? I buy bags that I fall in love with. Chasing a trend is a never ending story and you'll lose your money in the end for something you don't really love.
I still love bumbags. Have the Lululemon, a few from Stoney Clover, and still hoping to add a designer one to my collection at some point. They are so functional and necessary for my urban lifestyle in a big city without a car. Plus with hybrid work life, I’m definitely in athleisure and running gear 5 out of 7 days and not work clothes very often anymore where I need high end bags to complete my look!
I can’t even get my hands on the LV mini bum bag cuz it’s all I wanted. I was even on the waiting list but my SA texted me 3 days ago due to “max capacity” they apologized and bumped me off the waiting list because it’s a 12-18 month wait 😧🫠 so I opted for the Lululemon belt bags 🤷🏻♀️ can’t be mad about it but I’m hoping I love it! Lol purchased online-otw now lol 📦
I Love my lv bumbag, I’m from Cali but lived in hawaii and now central mid west in the U.S. it’s a great bag . And I have many friends who own lux bumbags and use them too. So I think they are here to stay for 2023
I’m so happy I don’t have social media and the fact I buy luxury items that past through time because influencers think money grows on trees . I have RUclips and tictok to watch videos I don’t follow the trend.
In my opinion, the LV bumbag was the best purchase I ever made. Not even about the brand name, the bag itself is so handy. It's spacious and perfect for travel. Even if it is out of style I will still use it!
I love my bumbags from high end to low end, I think they are one of the most practical bags that can be used for any lifestyle, I’ve even carried mine while dressed up it depends on how you wear them. Still will be a classic bag & not a trendy one to me
Agreed that the designer Bumbag isn’t a hype/ trend as much anymore….. but my daily style I wear a black vintage Gucci Bumbag daily for my dog walk. So carefree but yet a little bit more extra than the lululemon version (tho I do thinks the lululemon one is Gorg but can’t justify needing another Bumbag) I also own the LV one but havnt used it as much recently….. but as it’s apparently D/C I’m not gonna sell her!
I find it interesting most of those hyped bags you mentioned were on the affordable end. Seems its not really like that at the mo. Most of the hyped bags now cost thousands. Telfars maybe being the obvious exception. But they’ve been around a good while now. Be great if a new affordable it bag comes out again soon. I still love & wear my prada bum bag loads. Its just a integrated part of my everyday wardrobe now. Sling across my chest & go. It seems to me like a classic item now rather than a trend
a bumbag is a basic necessity when walking the dog, or walking to the store, or going for an ice-cream. it's hands free. nice to have a really chic one but in the end it's a utility piece so practical materials are best.
ysl icare maxi bag was so popular and highly sort after when they first launched but I feel like it has fizzle out already. I haven’t seen many out there or people using it. What do u think?
You have to have a certain body type or a certain style to wear a bumbag well and many of us can’t really carry them off, I think that’s why it was a short lived luxe trend. Popular on socials, not so much a money maker in reality, luxe wise. I think your Shrimps bags are nice ‘event’ bags because they’re timeless so I’d say they’re classics. Chloe is nice but usually ‘of the moment’, no longevity.
I can never understand why bum bags got so popular. They look so unflattering on everyone! Both wearing on the waist or across the chest. Especially the bulky ones like LV, they remind me how it looks like when you carry a baby in a carrier haha.. 😅 OK just personal opinion lol
hahahah no i dont think you are the only one that feels that way!! I loved the Lv bumbag and sold it to buy more bags but it did look VERY chunky ahhahaha
That uniqlo bag is the most common bag I see on people in Melbourne (which looks kinda like the Lemaire croissant bag...lemaire also designs for uniqlo)
I was gifted a Gucci Marmont belt bag. I let it sit in the back of my wardrobe for years because I don’t wear Gucci. My non luxury nylon bum bag zip broke. So I decided to use my Gucci Marmont belt bag. It’s tiny but it definitely serves a purpose in my collection. I just wish it was bigger. I desperate to buy a bigger luxury bum bag and now Louis Vuitton has discontinued the monogram bum bag in favour of a smaller fabric bum bag which I detest so I’m on the hunt for a bum bag from another fashion house. Maybe Bottega? 🤷🏽♀️
I saw no less than 100 Fanny packs when I was a the mask and at all price points. Those things are clearly not out of style. Do I own one…yes. However, I only used it at the gym to clip the belt part to the equipment. Since I started working out at home in 2021, I haven’t used it. It was good for the gym. In my daily life, I didn’t like it. Too utilitarian for my taste.
I absolutely love the cylinder bag shapes, the LV Cannes is still on my wish list, I remember MCM doing one too. Question: how many bags do you have, contemporary brands as well? ♥️♥️ love your content today, so informative x
Jessie, I love your opinions videos. I don't know if you are familiar with the mall store Claire's. It's an accessories store for kids. They have like hair stuff, jewelry, cutesy backpacks/bags and home decor. But lately I've seen prints on things that are very clearly Louis Vuitton inspired. And I've seen bags that looks like Kellys. I know fast fashion is inspired by the big houses, it was just weird seeing it aimed at little kids. It would be awesome to hear your opinion on it 😁. It's all super cute stuff, I just wonder if children even know what designer brands are. And it's all low end, plastic stuff they sell.
As a natural curly, she might not know how to add water and coat her hair as well. I've never had a perm, but I would guess it might be more defined with some curl care and knowledge.
Ladies, hot or not. As long as you enjoy and find that bag useful and love it. Wear it! Who cares what people think. 😉🥰
As a mom, the best purchase I ever made was my LV bumbag! Hands free and can store a lot! Don’t care if it’s in style it’s a forever piece for me!
I love my black LV empreinte bumbag.
sounds very fuss free!
I wonder if the empreinte is the same size as the monogram version? LV have discontinued the monogram so I may buy the empriente and that’s if they haven’t discontinued it 😢
@@myhubbyislouisvuitton4218 empreinte is much smaller!
i cant pull off a bum bag😂❤ your black lindy is always calling my name🖤
When everyone on the street is wearing the same bag….that is boring!! Wear what you love 😊
That's why I don't follow trends. I buy what works for me and my lifestyle.
Bumbags are common in Chicago, I think they’re still trendy here because of how useful it is and carefree downtown.
Agree. For urban life, it's very helpful. We use them all the time in Colombia 🇨🇴
Pretty popular in Colorado still. Very practical 👍🏼
I love my LV bumbags I wear them all the time. They are so useful and easy to carry. 😊
Love your necklace

I don't carry my life with me. The bum bag is perfect and serves a purpose. I like petite items and believe one is all you need.
I love bumbags. They are so comfortable. They are the sweatpants of the bag world.
i actually really want a fluffy lululemon one!
In my opinion, the LV bumbag was the best purchase I ever made. Not even about the brand name, the bag itself is so handy. It's spacious and perfect for travel. Even if it is out of style I will still use it!
I love my speedy bag from LV cause it'll never go out of style
I agree about the designer bumbags.

i think chloe's bags are very trendy, not at all classic. I'm so ready for comfy practical bags to be more popular
indeed!!! big & slouchy is trendy ATM

In my head, all these bags are pre-Covid haha.
true!! lmao
Hi Jessie off topic or maybe not. What do u think of the Picotin 18 cargo or Picotin Lock 18 pocket bag. Really interested in your opinion.
i LOVE the cargo Hermes styles!
I love my LV monogram bum bag and my little Lululemon bum bag! Both used for different purposes! 🥳❤️
ysl icare maxi bag was so popular and highly sort after when they first launched but I feel like it has fizzle out already. I haven’t seen many out there or people using it. What do u think?
its very pricey for a YSL bag...IMO just hype on instagram and YT but not in reality
@@Jessiestyle totally. Same thing with fendi first as well. I haven't seen many people carrying 🤔

indeed!!! the uniqlo bumbag has more slouch and is $20 which is why i think it may be a better option for travel and sports XD!
I did hear the dog and paused the video a couple times thinking it was outside my house lol

One definitely needs a bumbag or a backpack.... Unless you never go hiking... Red hot chilli peppers yayyyyy
☺ indeed!
I have the Prada Frankenstein bumbag I bought when in Hamburg. Absolutely love it and still use it when going to festivals and so practical
That uniqlo bag is the most common bag I see on people in Melbourne (which looks kinda like the Lemaire croissant bag...lemaire also designs for uniqlo)
Just have to laugh about the Cult Gaia bamboo bag. I had the exact same bag back in the seventies. They just ripped it off wholesale!

i have mainly furla, longchamp and telfar!! ^_^! im trying not to buy tooo many other contemporary brands because all bags take up space! hehe
I agree, too much space taken up 🤣♥️

i think the do it because parents like the idea of buying their kids dupes! or even to be matching with them!
Oh I never even thought of that! That would be adorable and cost way less than buying like mini bags or something for the mini mes
@@chickeechannel totally!!! The parents are the ones buying it 💼 👜 👛
I still love these 3 Chloé bags: Tess, Nile and Faye. And I don't like the new releases 🤷♀️
Argh the Louis bum bag has been so overdone I would never buy that
I love you Jess but your hairdresser did you so dirty. This perm is not it
