I recommend giving the newest CERR a whirl (2.0 came out recentlyish, for some reason it's not on Nexus). WERO just got its final update, but it's still wonky in a lot of situations, some of which shows up in this video.
I try all the versions, but most of all 3.4. I often use split point ammo, or a version where they head grab all the time, even without split point ammo.
Do u know how to reset the peds to their original state and positioning in case you failed and u want to try again. I keep failing but when i want to try again i have to spawn them again position them like before and that really exhausts me.

Watching that made me rush to download the couple of mods I did not have, that scene with the guy on the ground talking to you until you blow his head off was brutal! This is by far the best combo of blood mods I have seen. Doing research on every blood mod available was such a pain and I ended up going with P.D.O. (Ped Damage Overhaul) + Improvements In Blood. I tried the bloodbath mod and was disappointed when I saw little to no blood at all when testing it out. But then again, I did try it with only one mod at a time. But I think I am going to add that in with the other 2 blood mods I already have listed above.

Thanks bro, you can merge WhyEm's Bloodbath and Improvements in Blood, but that's at your own risk, because RUclips thinks it looks too realistic, but I'll give it a try anyway. Best blood effects without making the mobs seem like goofy blood geysers is achieved by combining WhyEm's "BloodCrave" (not "BloodBath" or "BloodLust") with "Improvements in Blood." The latter mod explains how to do it on its Nexus mod page. It's simple, you just gotta delete a few files from BloodCrave. PDO has no effect on blood graphic effects whatsoever. But it DOES greatly reduce dismemberment and decapitation because of how it alters mob health. Personally, I think PDO is super overrated, it's the cause of many gameplay glitches. Very wonky mod.
"Realistic Weapon Sounds", "RWS" for short. It's on Nexus. Be warned, it makes all guns significantly louder, and everything in a 'class' (e.g. revolvers) less individually distinct. What it does to distant gunfire sounds is truly excellent, though.

You can try reviving them or spawn them again, I spawn them again
