Some men behave like this because they are spoiled and had have everything done for them in beginning. So the women ends up being more dominant in relationship if she wants anything done she ends up doing it herself and become self reliant.But at a certain age yiu start to resent them as you realise you need rest and can't do everything yourself.Love yourself as noone else will.

As far as i’ve seen in pashtoon culture they look down on men who help with their wives at home.. may be few families don’t follow it other wise it is culture specially pashtoon culture.. i can understand your pain as i am going through it myself..
I think its dependant on famillies. As a Pashtun some men help their wives, whereas others are more lazy, but its not seen as something men are looked down upon for doing. Usually when a man does help in the household he is given more praise.

At times the way the man is wired during the beginning of his marriage. He behaves like that subconsciously throughout his life. Alot of it is to do with what their mother's teach them. They can't help change their habits as its been with them for so long.

This is to do with what elders teach them when they are young. Some men are taught that women are only there to look after men. That is their main duty. Then after raise the kids and look after the household and everything. And that mentality is wrong. I guess it all comes down to muslim men need to look towards Islam to know the value of a women and how to treat them thats where they will learn exactly how they need to treat women.

On the other hand they probably wouldn't want to because we women are so reactive.
