breed anubis and butcher them for large souls
For anyone who cant find the chests easily, use an online Palworld map to show the locations then add markers for each to your ingame map and adjust them as you find the actual chest there so its as accurate as possible. This made finding the chests way easier

Something I noticed there are 3 tiers of chest, Yellow, Purple, Red. All chest has a chance of giving you Coins, Bread, souls (size varies) and Coarse Ammo. Yellow and Purple also have a chance of giving keys (these depend on the regions). Red chest have always need keys to be open, but gives you a guaranteed schematic lower then legendary, but never common. These are my personal experiences I could 100% be wrong on a lot of these.
so far i have not gotten souls from red chests for those who were wondering
Me too, i have 90h playtime and my expierience is you have highest chance for souls in yellow chests and red do never have any
For large souls search in the ice montains for chests, they can have them
And if you need medium souls just kill every human if you get raided by humans and you get between 0 and 11 medium souls

server sized are limited at the moment to 32 players (max) but there is talk that they are looking to "up" that pretty soon .... as for streaming, both Twitch and RUclips allow you to multicast-stream .... so a lot of content creators are going live with twitch and multicasting direct to youtube simultaneously ... hope that helps :D
I've found that the Desert Area chests have an abundance of medium souls while the Tundra chests are large souls. The desert is much much easier to farm chests in though, as the Tundra has so many trees and slopes.
The western most snow against the ocean gives loads of large pal souls from chest, i get about 15 a day, plus loads of schematics

I've been able to find large souls pretty consistently in chests in the ice biome in the northwest of the map

Pro tip: if you want to find chests or anything that glows in the dark, change your world settings to make your night cycle last longer. You want to LOWER the nighttime speed if you want night to last longer. Then you can fly around and find chests much easier since they emit a soft glow.
I heard that if you capture the world bosses, then butcher them you essentially get double resources. When you capture them, you get the same amount you would if you kill them, but when you butcher them you get their death drops. Hope that makes sense.
Yeah I do this for legendary recipes, essentially double chance :)
You can do the same in the frosty mountains for large souls.

For large souls i chest hunt in the snow biom its pretty good actually
just got to level 45 so not sure if I'm at a good level to catch Jetragon, would definitely be a jump from Suzaku Aqua that I'm leveling up for PIDF Tower

You can get large pal souls from the chests in the northern ice region
Quick tip you can custom your in game setting to make it 90% day time 10% night
you can do alot more than that, by making the daytime go slower and night time go faster.
a little tip, you can increase the view distance when riding to 2 x. makes it a lot easier to spot things

I get large souls from the top left ice area, not as many as the medium in the desert, many are also locked behind silver/gold chests

For large souls I've found breeding and butchering anubis to be my favorite method. I let them produce 20 eggs, put them all in incubators and then butcher them, easy 40 souls. Feels like a decent lazy method for me.
This is the way!
Breed nix for small souls, anubis for large. Comb desert for medium
Get a breeding farm with 3 breeders, breed Anubis(Large souls guaranteed) in all three while you do anything else, butcher the new Anubis you got. in a few hours i got to a few hundred large souls, used the crusher to get small and medium. you also get those Technology manual from Anubis from time to time so you are also farming technology points with this.
i pretty much have an auto cake farm gonna try this out

You can get large souls in the snow area from the chest. The snow area closest to the tree.
Yeah, I never knew this till after the video haha. I looted a few chests and got no souls so assumed it was a bad area 😂

is there a good spot to farm Small Pal Souls? i havent been able to find many from chests and i have a ton of Med and a few large but i need the small souls to get started
I think the best for small souls is farming Daedream, they drop them.
sadly i have farmed them for 2 hours and havent seen that many drop for me. i even bred and butchered them and still no results, i maybe have gotten 10 out of 100 kills/butchers but i have noticed that Maraith's [the odd White Mask Dark Lions] in the frozen mountain area have a higher chance when killing/butchering to drop small souls but i did find that farming the gold chests around the starter area and the 2 small islands to the north east of the starting area do drop small souls. the worst part is i need 40 small souls per Pal to max out the small souls needed and i dont know the time needed for the chests to respawn@@scata5277
go around the starter island and the two islands north of the starter island along the beaches has a lot of chests to get souls
coming back to this, the drop rate is atrocious. stick to farming chests
If your thinking about using this method to farm small pal souls dont bother straight doesn't work at all spent an hour and a half on his exact rout to get 5 shit method

Snow area at night kills maraiths this is great for medium but maraiths for smalls and then just chests in snow area plus bosses
For large souls, just breed tons of Frostallion Noc and butcher them.

Nocturnal creatures drop souls during nigh time, so Daedream for small pal soul and Helzphyr for Medium pal souls. Large souls only drop from bosses, dungeons and chests
Just farm Anubis boss with shadow beak he’ll wipe out Anubis in 30 seconds

My issue is small pal souls once you reach the later part of the game everything you're fighting is dropping medium and large souls. Who wants to run around low level areas and dungeons collecting small pal souls when you're level 50. Lol

My Anubis has 150 work speed (Lucky, artisan, work slave, serious. If I upgrade its work speed to max I can nearly make it 3x faster then a regular Anubis with work speed of 70 vs 195. Can anyone tell me a craft/build that takes the longest to finish. I see how fast 195 work speed with lvl 4 hands works

The statue of power you first have to pick to upgrade your pal then use small souls after you used enough it will need higher tier souls

Idk where you and other people are getting “100” small souls. Cuz there’s just no way. There’s like 5 gold chest on the whole map it feels

Ugh speed up ok but atleast dont cut from teleporters or show a map so we can understand where you exactly are
100+ sounds like complete bullshit, ive run this about 10 times and struggle to get more than 30 per run if that
Everybody has stated different numbers, no idea on drop rate of official servers etc but on my own world and on others own worlds / co-op worlds, the numbers are accurate, just because you got unlucky on a run, doesn’t mean it’s untrue. I’ve even stated that not every run is a big haul, it completely depends on the luck of the chests 🤷♂️
This isn’t a soul farm. This is grinding. A farm is is you set it up walk away and it happens for you. All you’re doing is literally what you’re supposed to. Useless.
