Everyone should respect the fact that SHE is onstage to entertain. If you don’t play an instrument you should know it takes a lot of practice. I never say anything about people on stage. It’s easy to criticize sitting in the audience.
Thanks Tim Rentler for sharing with us. But honestly the recording device makes this sound like the band is inside an aquarium. I just saw her band do a 90 minute set on June 23rd at Ludlow Garage. On June 26th saw them open for Buddy. The keyboard guy is amazing. Would have been nice to see him here.
Yeah audio is a bit weird but this is the best live full concert of this Year that I could find on RUclips that was good enough. Also was there at Ludlow Garage and she and her band was awesome/amazing live at Ludlow Garage. Ally and her band is my favorite rock band/music artist ever.
it's so much a long time i see her , 4/5 years ....cool....by the way, at 23 minutes there's a keyboard solo, we never seen him ....i presume camera on a tripod, nobody to move it sometimes ....

She sounds great and as far as the "not a blues player" nonsense if we go by the strict definition of some blues purists that you have to be black to play the blues well then she isn't and neither was SRV or if you go by the definition that you can't play with a lot of gain and use non blues scales she isn't and Buddy Guy isn't either I saw him live and he was basically shredding with his amp turned up on ten and at times he sounded more like a metal guitarist than a blues player ,so I think the critics should lighten up and cut her some slack, she is great period case closed
@@mwilk19 Yep. Prince was not that great a guitar player, but a very creative artist within his limited theoretical knowledge. Seriously, I could do anything Prince could on guitar back in my time. Pro guitarists are too polite to rank him as he was. I consider us both somewhat mediocre guitarists, but creative. He was best at keyboards, then maybe bass and drums. He might have been much better at guitar if he focused on it.
@@starchild6347 Not sure if you are serious, but SRV was a monster guitar player-- better than Hendrix, as much as I love Hendrix and his unique artistry. Prince was not a monster guitarist, but he was a better song writer than SRV. Can't say if Hendrix or Prince was the more brilliant artist, but I prefer Hendrix.
Lots of good music with mixed pitch and sour notes from brass section. I ‘ve heard better trumpet from Japanese High School bands. No one hears that, they are already deaf!
Juicy, but I have a question, I've watched a couple videos & she opens up with trhe same song. Are all the sets the same songs in the same order? Since the first song is the same & I've all ready heard it, I don't stick around!
If she'd be a male, nobody would really care - she know's she's cute and knows how to promote it. Eventually she'll become a great guitar-player as well.
Nobody who dresses and looks like that can really play a mean guitar and sing right? Wrong. I have three of her CDs and they are great - not just one or two songs either.

@@DizzyKrissi Well Joe joe Bonamassa, Eric Gales, Buddy Guy, KWS, Devon Allman and Mike Zito have played on her albums. She went on tour with Buddy Guy not as an opening act. She has done shows with Larry Mitchel. Bonamassa complemented her on his radio show. Not bad for a mediocre guitarist, must be the pants. My point is there is a lot of heavy duty prejudice out there against female musicians. There will never be a female Jimmy Hendrix or Jimmy Page doesn't matter how good they are. I took some CDs once to a record shop where the guy rejected all the female artists. One was a blues sampler of female artists - their best songs.
@@LeftCoast_TomP : you are missing my point. She is not bad but imo overrated as a guitar-player - I like her vocals - but she still has the time to become great. I have no problem at all with female musicians but since we are all equal in certain respects she needs to "compete" (I do not like that word at all) with their male counterparts. I am sure that she would not be there if she'd be a male - but maybe I am wrong. There are great female guitar-players out there - Ally is not YET there - that's all I did say. You can also see that she sometimes feel insecure about her own playing by overusing the wah-pedal (Kirk Hammett-Syndrome) 😄 - chill and have a nice day.

There are a million and one local blues guys that can play circles around her, but local blues guys aren't marketable unless they are other wordly type of good. @@RBunks92 I know there are a lot of really good blues guitarists, male and female. I just like her mix of blues rock. I have never been one to say this guitarist is better than that guitarist. I have been more about what I like musically. Maybe it’s because I am not a musician. Her looks don’t hurt, but there are many really attractive female guitarists and I just don’t like their music as much. Lately, it’s been Ally, Laura Cox, Dea Matrona and The Warning all women who I follow and yes, their looks don’t hurt but I am not buying their music if I didn’t enjoy listening to it.
Women in music have to use their RESOURCES to get ahead in the music world. Look at Fish, Swift, Popovic, etc.,etc.,etc…. Even weathergirls that are Nice looking will be considered before the average girls. As they say, sex sells.
So there are 5 people in the band and three you never see? I thought she was playing with a drummer and a backing track I think there was a bass player for about two minutes. Decent music but a terrible video of the Ally Venable BAND. If you call yourself a band then show the other members. Just my humble opinion...

The problem with many bands, as i see it, is that the vocals don't come through clean. Other than that, awesome.
