- A rare visit by a Aviacon Zitotrans Ilyushin Il-76 bringing around 300 dogs and cats to Vancouver from Afghanistan. When the U.S. military withdrew from Afghanistan, the animals owners were forced to leave them behind, and with months of preparation by SPCA International and the Kabul Small Animal Rescue (KSAR) "Mission Impossible" has finally landed in Vancouver. It was a pleasure to witness this extraordinary event in person and having the opportunity to be up close with this beast. Enjoy the video everyone.

This vid is awesome for all kinds of reasons: the effort required to bring these animals to safety in Canada (several of which are going to reunited with their families); the IL-76; the many helping hands, and SPCA International. Wish I could smash that "like" button 100 times. Very well done, ET.

Many of them have owners, mostly Americans who were working in Afghanistan, so will be going to them. Original plan was to fly them to U.S., but U.S. not allowing Russian aircraft right now, I believe. The Vancouver Sun did a story about a man who came up from California to get his cat.

May I ask, what ISO is this video recorded?it looks extremely noisy for a rx10 m4 to me?, Looks like iso 12800 or so. If thats the case, was it really needed for these light conditions?.thanks!
For the walk around shots I had my ISO set on auto. I left it on auto so I didn't have to worry about adjusting it during the limited time I had airside. For these conditions I would recommend the lowest to be around 6400. Can only do so much with a 1 inch sensor.
@@eyetrapper thanks buddy, yep, it looked like something between 6400 to 12800. Just wondered about this as some scenes looked a bit over exposed so I was curious. Great footage by the way. Would like to ask also how do you stabilize your videos?, It seems like some post procesing stabilization is done right?. Thanks!
@@watermanpc85 no worries! Glad you liked the video. 👌 There is no post stabilization, I would like to add some but my editing program isn't the greatest at it.

@@eyetrapper Btw, forgot to mention, how can you zoom-in/out while rotating the gimbal of your tripod?, and what kind of tripos/gimbal are you using for such an smooth operation?.
