My tip for you to impress your brother is to learn some easy classical music. It might sound boring to you but it actually sounds way more impressive than pop. It also helps you with you technical skills if you want to pick up piano some time.
Watch the one published on marioverehrer's channel... it starts of simple too and sounds just on point. I'm not saying that it's bad... in my opinion it just doesn't convey nearly as much emotion as the original. That might be due to the partly wrong notes.
WithoutLegsYouCantBreathe I️ used to be the same way, I️t was sooooo bad and frustrated me so much. But I️ kept practicing and practicing and bam! Now I️ can do both just fine. I️ prefer to take I️t slow and learn both at once but learn the song in sections.

Thanks for a informative post, here are a few more tips on how to play the piano… Try practicing about 1 hour each day, or just 30 minutes if you short of time. Do extra practice whenever you have more time. For example, on weekends you could do more than 1 hour, like two or 3, or even more. This is very helpful because it pulls you out of the routine of piano playing, and lets you practice more and perfect the pieces you play. Listen to the song or piano piece you are playing. For example, if you are taking piano lessons and are about to play a new piece, you could try searching on the internet for videos or songs and hear how it sounds. This can be very helpful because it teaches you how a song is played and lets you recognize the 'emotion,' the piece is giving off. Practice sight-reading and don't worry about making mistakes. This can be very helpful, because it's almost like scanning a paragraph and looking at the picture. It helps you to understand what the passage is trying to convey before you actually read it and lets you know what comes next. This is the same with music, and it can help you stop making mistakes. (I read about these and more on Denelle Piano Lesson website )

fever forever it's because it's simplifying a lot of the rhythms and taking out almost all the chords. The actual song has big 4-5 note chords but this is just single notes
