    Great Great video.. Now i understand what our cardiac doctor informed us, 100% occlusion in RCA and LAD had 2 95% blockage and LCX had 1 95% blockage... RCA couldn't be treated due to an old thick blood clot.. LAD & LCX treated well with stents. Doctor informed that RCA before the blockage point was fed by coletral arteries.. Now i understand what happened

    I've been diagnosed with 90% occlusion on my LAD but was told that I won't be receiving a Stent because colateral circulation.
    So, I started increasing my aerobic and anaerobic training to hopefully stimulate more colateral circulation. Also many dietary improvements. Does the increased exercise cause the arteries to expand into more circulation capacity or grow more colaterals?
    Will I still need to remove the blocking plaque or will my heart simply adapt?

      how remove the bloackage?

    • @taterbug70
      @taterbug70 Год назад

      @sutenly1 there are catheters which can cut away the plaque or you will need to go on strict vegetable diets and fasting for a time to remove them naturally

    Sir, I would like to know how to increase collateral arteries in the heart by natural means?

    Great video. My wife had a stroke and on the angiogram they found the collateral circulation happening. They suspect it was happening for a long time. I'm wondering if its enough to consistently supply blood for many years to come?

      thank you... people with collateral circulation usually do better than people without cerebral collaterals post stroke...👍

    What happens of pre developed collateral arteries after angioplasty with stents?

    • @MedicalSnippet
      @MedicalSnippet  3 месяца назад

      if native flow is established, collaterals will usually closes

    What r the terms for these collaterals

    • @MedicalSnippet
      @MedicalSnippet  11 месяцев назад

      there are no specific names. But they are classified into homocollaterals, if collaterals supply the same sided artery, for example LAD filling from LCx branches. And heterocollaterals, if opposite artery gives collaterals, for example LAD receiving collaterals from RCA

    Can collateral arteries be developed after stenting too?
