Lagos has enjoyed what no state has ever enjoyed in terms of FG investments, geographical advantage and commercial activities.

Atiku is a joke... He's still thinking about oil money and privatisation instead of diversification into our Agriculture and our natural resources. He should think about investing properly in the federal assets or go into PPP while making sure of proper maintenance and overhaul of the corrupt system

I dont think privatizing the refineries to raise 10billion US dollars for whatever reason is a good idea. Infact enough of this PRIVATIZATION. Our refineries need to fixed by the govt and set to optimal operation so as to impact the masses socially and economically. If wastes and cost of governance are cut down, corruption and jumbo pay of the national assembly drastically reduced, we will have more than enough to get our refineries working. Once this is done, we can proceed to gradual , systematic and tactical removal of fuel subsidy which will reflect more into our treasury .There are lots of products from refining our crude oil in our country which will be of immense help to both the masses and the government. With some physical infrastucture like power, being put in place, few or nobody will be expecting the so called 10B USD for SMEs.
Having said this, I don't think Atiku Abubakar has the solution to our problem currently.

You should wonder oh. Probably, Agege is developed more than Anambra state. Not all Ibos hustling in Lagos engageg in a tangible business. Most are touts loitering at computer village or Ladipo spare part market. They rest sell pure water and Gala on the roads. The life in Lagos and SW I'd way better than living in poverty stricken Southeast without any economic plans in place. Nigerians, start holding your government in check. Lagos is not perfect but it is growing and this is bound to speed up development along SW axis in the near future.
