It’s sad that Ethiopians are unused, I think they would’ve been interesting to play
I’m surprised the Danes never made it as a Civ despite claiming Greenland and US Virgin Islands
I love the fact they introduced these themes. Reminds me of Call of Duty spawn themes.
These are truly awesome melodies, several are even better than their AoE2 counterparts. I hope they eventually add some more civs, like the Italians or the Polish.
As far I remember the Italians were originally planned to be in the main game by Ensemble Studios I don't know why they at the end don't included them

Finally, I found the full French theme! God, I really love the French theme in this game, it is so beautiful and peaceful at the same time.
i hate the fact that the music theme gets cut off once the battle begins... it should be like in AoE2 with the theme still running after the match starts
they should even add it as an option because that would keep me hyped and immersed the whole match instead of 40ish seconds in
if you restart the match, the music theme doesn't stop after the starts.

I was waiting for some Baroque music, accurate instruments(harpsichord piano for example) and the sophistication of the compositions from that period...to me this soundtrack was kinda conceptual, I'm a Age3 player since 2009 and I feel in love with everything that had relation with this historical period, movies, fashion, music. So I was waiting for something else . For me the best from this list is Spanish and Aztec. And the worst...Swedish...who made this was thinking too much about the Vikings from Age2, has nothing to do with the magnificent music that was created in that time and place.

I am a Portuguese main so for a longtime I didn't know there even was such a thing a different themes for each civilization just assumed that the Portuguese theme was the loading song.

Hey I'm just checking in on your progress on the Game of Thrones House Targaryen suite. You had said it'd be re-uploaded but there still isn't anything on it. I remember the full hour and 30 something minutes and really do miss it.
Still looking for a way to upload it without getting it blocked worldwide. I made to different mixes but they got blocked instantly. So I'm chopping the tracks a little bit more hoping to fool the copyright system.

I bet these civilizations are the children and grandchildren of their aoe2 counterparts.
With the exception of Iroquois and Sioux, they all have an equivalent in AOE2. Though Burgundians => Dutch might be debatable

Not yet. Probably won't be added. The glory days of the Anam had already passed by the time window in which AoE3 takes place.
@@vladimirlagos2688 I don't think the game cares much about that, the Spanish are literally from the 1500's while the French under Napoleon are from the 1800's

Spain's Golden Century ended in the mid-1600s, but Spain was still a big player in the European theater all the way up to the War of Spanish Succession in the mid-1700s, even performing quite well during the Seven Years War (where despite being on the losing alliance, they actually gained territory instead of losing it) or in the War of Jenkins Ear where they held off the theoretically more powerful British Empire without allies of their own. Plus, just the sheer size of the Spanish Empire all the way up to the Napoleonic era grants their presence in this game.
Truth is, not all the civs in the game peaked during the Napoleonic Era (1803-1821), but all of them peaked sometime during the 1492 to 1821 time window of this game.
On that note, I think there is still space to add a few more factions into the game, and not all are necessarily European. Morocco, the Zulu Empire, the Barbary States, Poland, the Kingdom of Sardinia, and Denmark are all examples of potential good candidates in my opinion.

{2} Akbar {1556 to 1605} leader of 19th century Indian civilization😂😂
{3} mughal 15th to late 17th century
Consider as Gunpowder kingdom like Ottomans then why they depending on consulate for artilleries
