No USB c I'm not buying it
I don't need another cable that doesn't work with anything else.

If you want to listen to stuff on trails then you really owe it to others to keep your situational awareness. Its just good manners/etiquette.

Been looking for something like this for out on my bikes. Oladance is standing out at this point. Thoughts on if you could use earplugs with them or would they dampen the sound as they’re arnt really bone conducting? How’s the bike helmet interference? work in a high noise powerplant environment where earplugs are required for longer maintenance activities. Thanks! Great review.

Next do a review of the handlebar mounted big screen TV and tell us it's not distracting.

One negative with this type of headphone (I'm a Shokz headphone user) is the band that connects the two ear pieces makes it near impossible to use this type of headphone while wearing a toque underneath your helmet.

I am wondering how they hold up in the wind. Not for calling but at what speed will the wind noise overpower the headphones. Specifically compared to bone conduction headphones. I used the Shokz Aftershokz which where ok. But after they broke I got the new Shokz OpenRun and those are not as loud and are overpowered quickliy even with a little wind at lower speeds.

These are much better than the Shokz in terms of wind noise. I did a review on the Shokz quite a while ago and said that above 18 mph the one noise over powers the volume. With these I would say you can go 2 to 4 mph faster and still be fine. If you want to block out all noise from the wind, Jaybird Vista are great with incredible sound.

Thanks for sharing, had no idea this brand existed, I am a user for the shoxs now for a few years . Works well for me . For me it’s always music. 🎶. But it’s so good to know ,BASS especially cause shoks don’t have the base quality. 😊

The OWS1's are absolutely brilliant for situational awareness. However, the fact that version you're discussing has physical buttons rather than feather touch, does pique my interest as the touch ones can be a bit too responsive/sensitive at times, but not game-changing by any means.
I'd be more receptive to the idea of the headband if it was more flexible. Mainly because i wear a Specialized Tactic 4 which, as you know, has a low profile design at the rear.
One things for sure though, that walkie-talkie feature would be a blast on a big group ride if everyone had a pair. 😄
    Thanks for sharing your time.

Are these in-ear or over-ear? I'm wondering if they can be used by someone wearing thin-wire hearing aids.

Over ear. I don’t know much about those kind of hearing aids but people that I’ve seen use them have them more inside their ears so I would think they would work

Ohhhh Clint clint clint are you sure you want to do this again? Are you sure you want to go down this rabbit hole again? People need to pay attention on the bike. I really dont like that you encourage people to be distracted when operating any moving vehicle. Bikes, cars scooters etc. I have seen plenty of near misses and accidents with people on the ground unconscious on bike trails because people were not paying attention. You have all sorts of people with varying levels of bike skills watching your videos. Especially e-bike riders and if they follow you advice are going to hurt them selves and others. If you want to ride with distraction thats fine but please don't promote it to others.

Seriously? He’s saying you can use these and still have awareness of your surroundings. I use shokz, myself, while I enjoy music but can hear what’s going on around me.

I can do gravel rides where I don’t see a car for 30 minutes. And when I do, the situation awareness of the headphones combined with a Garmin Varia makes me fully aware.
