Got my decant today , I'm 19 and I say it's smells pretty good but I think it's more of a older man type of scent . My girlfriend said it smells like a leather jacket and trees. I honestly enjoy this decant very relaxing . Will be wearing on a date night. Longevity last about 5 hours on my skin
It’s a great one! I gotta spray it everywhere to make it last longer though, clothes, hair… It really takes me to another place and time. Brandy, green tea, fresh air from the woods, fireplace, leather armchairs.
I wore this gorgeous fragrance today. I know it has been criticized for being a weak projector and does not last that long. I would totally disagree. I would say the longevity and projection are perfection for what a gentleman should smell like. I put 6 sprays on at 6:30 am and it is now over 8 hours later and I am still enjoying this fine scent. It has not faded at all to a skin scent, it is consistent in that it has been putting out that nice creamy shaving foam scent all day and it is not so strong as to invoke a headache to me nor anyone around me. I could not ask for more!
Great review! Terrible Teddy is my favourite fragrance from The portrait line. To me, The tragedy of lord George smells like a leather jacket and cigarette smoke combined.
Pure British fragrances . I smell them and I just land into east London ! Sir please make a video on mancera cedart boise . I really wanna have it but your opinion matters !
Great review. It does remind me of the same setting but with a hint of cigar also. I like the subtle notes especially for spring also useful for close contact.
I received a sample kit from Penhaligon's today...delightful! I suspect that 'The Tragedy Of Lord George' will become my signature scent? However, there are still 9 more scents to go, so who knows?
Tbh reading the comments everyone has similar impression of this fragrance I didn’t really need to watch the rest of the video but this guy seems genuine so I stayed.
I own "The Inimitable Mr. Penhaligon", which is for me the best of the male leaning characters of the Portraits Section of this House. Second would be "Blazing Mr. Sam". "The tragedy of Lord George" doesnt work out very good at least on my skin. Its warm and bouzy with a present Tonka in the intro, also a a short flash of green notes in the beginning. But the drydown seems to only be the dominant Tonka note, which stays on the skin and is quite boring to me.
Lord George easily lasts 5 to 6 hours on my skin with nice whiffs time to time. From the House of Penhaligon’s, I love Sartorial and Douro. Yet to experience Halfeti Leather.
There's heath in this which is not mentioned on the note pyramid. I use this as my signature scent but I'm also looking for a less expensive duplicate to wear around the house. Do you know of a less expensive fragrance that smells similar to this? Thanks
I’ve been wearing this as a morning / aftershave fragrance. I also wear as an indoor accoutrement in colder months. It’s a gentleman’s fragrance for sure, perfect mix of fresh from the barbershop and dignified private dining/smoking club vibe. Yes, it is not particularly complex but it hits the spot. Absolutely terrific. For my skin, I tend to get 2-4 hours max, just enough to recalibrate for the evening. Niche and imo worth the money.
Honest review 👍 About the Lord George from my experience : Great presentation from the bottle and packaging, smells good but doesn't last long and weak projection 😭

To me this is a shaving foam combined with woody and light boozy notes. I like it quite a lot. Nice review.
Thanks, 2 more hrs of longevity would have been great.

Thank you Lisa
Very nice of you🌞
How does this compare to Dior Sauvage?
The Tragedy of Lord George is a creamy Barbershop Fragrance while Dior Sauvage is a peppery ambroxan Fragrance 😉
@@ScentTrail Thanks Boss! Wasn't expecting a serious response to that question but I appreciate it!
I love your hair
Thank you Louisle9 ,thats very nice. Tschüß
