I made the song in the second half of the vid last year for the AyumuScript video but decided not to use it. I couldn't make another good enough song for this vid so just decided to use that one here.
A feature it's really missing is the ability to emulate Sakaki x Cat interaction by sticking your finger in your optical drive and having it "bite" you. I hope the development team fixes this glaring omission in 2.0 or I'm taking my business elsewhere.

I made the song, it sampled Star Eyes by Cal Tjader, it was very interesting to make because it uses many different cuts of the song to create 2 loops that have 2 different tones/cadences. In the first loop you can even hear a flute start to play and rise that eventually cuts to a falling electric piano, but it still sounds relatively seamless, especially with the drums played over it. I couldn't figure out how to make drums that would fit the rhythm of that last 3 beat chord in the first loop, but I put 2 kicks over the first and second beat of it to transition the drum loop back to the beginning so it worked out ok. Edit: sorry I forgot to answer your first question, just follow tutorials online and actually follow through with projects, for osdev, check out the osdev website, they have plenty of technical and general articles for you to read about the development of old and modern operating systems.

xfce debian, 20 different vanilla vim terminals open with the different files I'm editing, I don't like most IDEs. Also coding livestreams would not be entertaining from me since the way I program is in short bursts of actual work and 90% is just me watching videos, listening to music, doing stuff around the house etc.

Practically yes, you can emulate directory trees that have a depth of no more than 8 (or 7?), the main difference is that tags act more as file attributes (like what you see when you check properties on windows) than filesystem pointers. They organize files into subsets, like a venn diagram, than a data tree.
I'm thinking I'll just use tags for that, but I could also have some predefined system value be used as well if its more convenient, but I'll see in the next few videos.
